Ditto. Must have stopped watching by then.

I have the dvds but didn’t bother getting season 5. The only way I end up seeing Coy and Vance is via digital on Vudu.
I finally saw a new Christmas movie of a sort but came across a version that was edited for tv. It had a peculiar flair about it you might say.

My wife and I watched the original Robocop recently. Haha that movie is so ridiculous but a classic for good reason. It strikes a pretty unique balance between dark/gritty and zany/comedic.

Tried watching the “new” Twilight Zone” on Paramount+. It is not a good family show. Too much bad language. I mean, I’d expect bad language in a Quinten Tarantino film but TZ? No thanks. After 2-3 episodes I’m done.
One cool thing is they offer the episodes in B&W and I enjoyed that aspect of it but with F bombs dropped every few minutes it’s just not something you can watch with the family. TZ could stand on its own without the language but the episodes I saw weren’t very good stories anyway. Might try to watch a remake called “Nightmare At 30,000 Feet” but it’s probably not as good as the Shatner original.

Made my wife watch "Slumberland" with me on Netflix the other night. Just found out today that it is a live action remake of the animated Japanese film Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland (or at least heavily inspired by it). Either way it was an interesting (and kind of fun) watch. My wife thanked me for making her watch it, because she wanted to check out about 15 minutes into it. It was worth sticking with it.

Nothing! My internet is out again!!!!
It is time to start shopping for a different internet provider. This local company has not had great service since I signed up.

I've spent the last few days watching a couple of free movies on Freevee (I think they are owned by Amazon).
Layer Cake (2004) - A British gangster film with some twists and turns. Starring Daniel Craig (I think this predates his tenure as 007). Really decent film, but it has a ton of swearing and I think some brief nudity.
The Island (2005) - Ewan McGregor and Scarlet Johansson (who looks like she is 16) in an odd sci-fi action kind of film (also with a few predictable twists). Also has Sean Bean (Boromor from the LOTR) and Steve Buscemi with a short appearance from Michael Clarke Duncan (from the Green Mile). Odd that all these stars were in this film yet I had never heard of it. Fun flick (right up my alley). I think there was a little bit of swearing but I don't remember any nudity at all. A review said it reminded him of "Logan's Run". I can kind of see that, but with a totally different premise.

The War of the Worlds/ 2019 TV series
Found this while browsing thru Freevee. Never knew about it so had to give it a chance. Just finished episode 1. I think I am going to like this!
I also just found out it is only 3 episodes.

I watched the first episode, but didn't like it the more I watched it.
I've just started watching "It's A Wonderful Life", as I've never seen the whole movie before (I have seen small clips of it).

Was it the black and white version or the "colorized" version?

Black Adam before HBOMax goes away in a few days. Decent movie but not being a DC fan I had no clue who anyone was except Hawkman.

Apocalypse Now (Redux). No offense meant to anyone who likes the film, but that was a horrible waste of my time. I have watched at least a few dozen war films in my years but that had to be one of the worst. 3 hours of my life I will never get back.
