My wife was reading a review from some website (like Fandango or something), that gave the "optimistic" term in their write-up. I'm pretty certain Hank's character wasn't technically the only person left alive, but he is the only one you see in current time.

No, but that would have been pretty darned funny...and it is something almost as clever. The dog's name is Goodyear, and it has something to do with how/where he found the dog.

Black Widow
It wasn't bad, but it just felt out of place doing a story that takes place earlier in the series to be told after they killed off Natasha's character.

Yeah, I thought that was kind of dumb as well.

Jungle Cruise - kind of entertaining, I was expecting to hate it but it was alright. A bit convoluted (or messy in my wife's words) worth watching at least once.

It was pretty good. It certainly wasn’t your typical kind of feel good Christmas movie. It may not be the best but it is not really that bad. The whole story works really well, and that ending…I can honestly say I did not see that coming.
There is a part of it that pretty much hits home now a days with kids being more naughty than nice.

I remember seeing a trailer for that more than a year ago. Totally forgot that it was one of the films I wanted to see.

Red Notice (with Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds) Meh, it didn't stink but much of it was predictable (except for maybe one twist near the end).

Oh and I forgot last weekend we went to an actual movie theater and watch Venom 2. It was fun (the movie and the trip to the theatre)

The Kissing Booth 3 (Netflix)
Ghostbusters: Afterlife
I must say that this was a lot of fun! While I was in the minority and liked the all female reboot/alternate version, this story felt like it should have happened. This passes the torch to a new generation (albeit too young), but we also get to see the classic cast in action one last time. This film is more serious than the original, but it is still funny. There were several times that I laughed because of nods to the original film or other nerdy quirks where the rest of the audience didn't. Ah, well, I guess nerdy quirks only appeal to nerds like me.

I went in blind, having steered clear of spoilers and reviews, and was not disappointed. Reminiscent of The Cure For Wellness in places, but was clearly Shymalanesque.

Ophelia (2018) If you aren't a fan of Hamlet this film won't change your mind. It's a retelling of the original Shakespeare play from the point of view of Ophelia. I expected it to be a complete reworking of the story, but a lot of it was more faithful to the original story than I expected. Certainly worth watching once (unless you are not a fan of Shakespearean stories).
