How was it? I am thinking about seeing it tomorrow in 3D when I get back in town from vacation.

Loved it. 9/10. Not your typical superhero movie.

To Kill a Mocking Bird
This may have been my first time seeing this one. I can see how today’s younger generation would probably fall asleep but they should still see it. Some good life lessons in it.
Not too long ago I found out it was filmed in Monroeville ,Al. Maybe about an hours drive from here.

Defendor (2009) Older film with Wood Harrelson. I was kind of surprised that I had never seen it before.

With Gregory Peck (from 1962)? I'm not sure if I have ever seen the movie (I did read the book about 5 or 6+ years ago).

We read the book and saw the film in my Junior Lit class.
Those who haven't read or seen it don't get line from Benny& Joon: Having a Boo Radley moment, are we?

Probably. Ewan MacGregor's over-the-top antics were easily the weakest link of this film.

Clickbait on Netflix. So far a pretty good "whodunit". At the end of each episode you're convinced you know who did it and why. Then the first minute of the next episode leads you to believe you were wrong.

Wow MacGregor is usually the highlight of most films I've seen him in. Thought he was one of the redeeming aspects in the Star Wars prequels, and his performance in Trainspotting is absolutely fantastic. However, I think the only thing I've seen him in for the last 10 years would Christopher Robin (which I did enjoy).

I've almost givn that first episode a try 3 or 4 times in the last few weeks... but always decided to watch something else instead.

Soylent Green. We're not quite as bad yet as the movie projected 2022 would be like, but it was funny seeing so many wearing masks because of the air pollution.

Hacksaw Ridge
Excellent movie. Wish I had seen it in the theater but all I could tell from the previews was that it was a war movie.

How was it? It must be sold out here tonight.
This was a cool documentary style film that would be great for those with daughters still at home.

It was really good. There was a good size crowd too.
The main angle in the movie was they ended up going to court over them home schooling a bunch of kids while also teaching them the Bible. Courts said no so they go to DC to fight for their rights.
At the beginning of the credits it say the movie was inspired by actual court cases that happened across the nation. They listed them. I’m guessing it was at least about a dozen cases.
