While browsing thru different sites/ FB pages I came across an alternative. I think next years vacation I will be going to Ohio for the Air Force Museum.

Both are cool things to see. I have been to both!
I think we are going to go to the Pima Air & Space Museum just in Tucson next weekend. It's a huge place with just tons of old aircraft.

Which JJ's sammich was it? Did you get chips too? (I like the vinegar ones)... what about a giant pickle?

Roast beef, provolone cheese, Dijon mustard, lettuce. A quartered pickle and two large chocolate chip cookies.

Oh yum! I really like that one they have with Roast Beef and Turkey. I always get that Dijon mustard too, way better than that fake yellow looking mustard. I usually have a bag of salt & vinegar chips and a lemonade with mine. I try to convince myself that the potato chips are better for me than the cookies (LOL), but their cookies are great.

I went for an english breakfast with two friends, then watched the final episode of The Book Of Boba Fett.
(english breakfast for me was... egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown, mushrooms, baked beans, cooked tomatoes and two slices of toast) and of course, two cups of tea!

Here in the U.S. it wouldn't be uncommon to have all of that for a large breakfast... except for the baked beans. Baked beans are reserved for lunches or dinners. Usually when grilling burgers or hotdogs or BBQ ribs (or something of that nature).

How were those tomatoes cooked? If they were fried, then that could be part of a southern breakfast in the USA. For the most part, though, for breakfast we would slice the tomatoes, chill them in the fridge, and eat them raw.
I have never heard of baked beans for breakfast. Everything else just sounds like something my grandma would have made or a big breakfast from Cracker Barrel.

Till Thursday it will be tropical here. To hot to walk on bear feet on the terrace, to hot to do something. Oh man, I really don't like tropical days. Wednesday we're getting the pesky thunderstorms from France.

Tomorrow and Tuesday is going to be record breaking heat in the UK. Possibly 41 degrees. I think the hottest I've been in is 37. Fortunately, where I live it will be about 30 (which is still too hot for me, but better than 41!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Your hot temps would sound more impressive if you were using Fahrenheit.

I think the U.S. is the only place that uses Fahrenheit anymore. I'm not at all sure why the rest of the world uses Celsius. There is such a substantial difference in just 5 degrees C. For instance. Fundy's 30 degree high translates to 86 degrees F (right now I feel like I would kill my neighbor's parrot for a day as cool as 86F ), and the six degree swing to 41 degrees C is about 106 degrees F (that is an 11 degree difference in Celsius but a 20 degree swing in Fahrenheit). Right now we are 103 to 112 degrees Fahrenheit every day (39 to 44 degrees Celsius). It is making it quite difficult to train our son's puppy to go pee and poop outside when it is too hot for him to walk on the rocks, sidewalk, and asphalt for 7 hours out of the day. I have to carry him to a small sliver of shade next to house and try to encourage him to do his business.

They would have been fried. Probably tinned tomatoes, rather than fresh, but I'm not sure. No one in the UK (as far as I'm aware) would have baked beans for breakfast, unless it's part of an English Breakfast.

Fry canned tomatoes? HERESY!!!!
Truly southern fried tomatoes should be picked fresh and still green to make them more tart. While many would disagree with me, the greener and more tart makes fried green tomatoes even better!

That was random. Has to have been a decade or more since I've heard that classic. Still just as fun.

I am sitting in annual training for reporting abuse, blood born pathogens, etc. I am SO bored. I am also disgusted that the other educational assistants don't ever remember how to take the courses online and keep interrupting me asking the same questions as last year. It gets old.
Oh, the glamorous life of an educational assistant.
