I'm just teasing you. I'd have to see what you're doing in order to help.

The good news: all the vital replacement parts have arrived for my Jeep. The bad news: two more pieces-parts had to be ordered upon removing the rear bumper. The mechanics estimate that I should have my vehicle by next weekend--six weeks from the date of my hit-and-run.

Drats! I was hoping you had some pointers!

Let me know what you're experiencing and I'll see if I can help. I'm not an expert, but I use Reaper without any issues.

Today, issues is all I have!
I have done a simple punch in/out. Today, nothing works even watching videos to help. If I do get it to punch in, it does some weird loop and starts recording a different section. I can't even play through the song on a different track on the bass and it's so simple! I feel like I am cursed or something.
I am so frustrated that I could seriously get rid of my gear and walk away. It shouldn't be this difficult.

I haven't tried using the punch in/out. I just insert a new track, disarm the first and arm the new one, pick a spot before the mistake and start recording from that spot. Then I place the curser where I want to split the track and right click choosing "Split Items at Cursor" for both, delete the mistake and move the good take into the vacated section.
Clear as mud?

I think I might have even understood that and I've never used recording software.

Being in Florida for almost 25 years had me confused yesterday when a strange thing happened. White stuff started falling out of the sky here in Michigan! Is the sky falling??

They say they'll have the Jeep done this week. 7 weeks in the shop as of Friday. Canceled Sirius XM. Listened to JPBII and the Fractured Brain, almost a month behind. I checked out Derek Gilbert's YouTube channel, which was very informative and educational. Getting cold here this morning, went to Walmart wearing a cap and gloves. In two days, the meteorologists predict 70-degree temps. Only in the Ozarks.

Glad to hear you will be getting your Jeep back. That reminds me I need to get my car in for an oil change.

My wife has taken up the totally awesome and wonderful hobby of making sourdough bread from scratch. Most recently, she was busy with the kids so it was up to me to score the bread... Naturally, I had to make an "Eddie Breaddie" hehehehe.

Really trying to keep my cool with the "mechanics" that have my Jeep. Two months next Friday. Granted, 5 of those 8 weeks have been spent waiting for the parts...but the last two parts (a separate analysis, resulting in another two-week delay) they should have properly diagnosed from the outset. They keep moving the goalposts and dragging their heels, and wonder why I'm getting slightly miffed. Please pray for me. Jesus willing, I'll have it back next week.

Three days this week, I have gotten up at 5 AM, worked my usual 9 1/2 hour day, and then had stuff to do after work that kept me out until bedtime. I am exhausted and have a ton of activity this weekend as well. I don't feel like I get rested.
Getting old sucks.

I guess it will have to be meth. Caffeine dehydrates me and causes hours of heart palpitations if I don't get enough water to counter that. You got any of that meth? Or did you mean math?

Not all is resolved. Turns out that the trunk lock isn't entirely latching properly, affecting the front interior and rear interior dome lights, causing them to stay on while driving. The trunk will click shut properly when I use the key fob, but I'll have to call the mechanic Monday to resolve the issue.
