Why? I was toying with the idea of watching this with my Campus Life kids. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

Why? I was toying with the idea of watching this with my Campus Life kids. MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!!!!! Now I will say that I have made it required watching for my 16 year old daughter, but will not let my 9 year old watch it (yet). This gives away the ending a bit (but you asked for it). The main character is the son of a Nazi Extermination Camp Commandant. Unknown to his father the boy visits the edge of the camp where he befriends a Jewish boy in the camp who is his age (eight). The German boy is very naive about what is going on in the camp and he comes to a terrible end. I would say it is probably ok for the 14 to 15+ crowd, but not sure I would show it to anyone much younger. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is very moving. But, anything about the Holocaust moves me emotionally. The Jews must still have it rough, dealing with the memory of that horror, and hearing people say it never happened. My wife and I have a great love for the children of Israel. How could we not, our King is a Jewish carpenter! |

| I've watched a couple of 'That the World May Know' series, featuring Ray Vander Laan. They're like mini Bible lessons. Very cool. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

I feel for you. Can't say I've missed such "entertainment" at all. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Even so, I'm usually reading while my wife absorbs the boob tube output. TV, with all its bells and whistles can't even compare to a really good book. |

Well my kids are watching it, but I'm just checking in on it between getting the turkey in the oven and making those nasty deviled eggs. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Woah! Remington Steele. I haven't seen that show in over 15 years. I remember when my daughter was a newborn she would wake up at like 2am to feed and I would get up with her sometimes. At that time of night the only thing decent on t.v. was Remington Steele reruns. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Some Hallmark movie last night that was interrupted by a phone call. I hate when that happens. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Several I have watched lately:
Moonlight & Mistletoe (Hallmark original Christmas movie) The Christmas Choir (Hallmark original Christmas movie) Avatar (awesome sci-fi flick directed by James Cameron) The Chipmunks: The Squeakuel (self-explanatory) The Perfect Gift (good Christian movie about the importance of Christ's birth) Sarah's Choice (stars Rebecca St. James and deals with abortion--great film!) _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/
