Just saw it as well. It was good but all the f-bombs and profaning Jesus' name made it painful. Totally unnecessary.

Yeah, I agree. I had totally forgotten about them. I tend to zone them out especially with my hearing as I don’t hear them while watching.
All in all the one thing I could have done without was Nicolas Cage kissing “himself”.

My wife dragged (drug?) me to this movie last night. I was not expecting to like it at all. But aside from the excessive swearing I though the movie was hilarious (at least the second half).

Bubba Ho-Tep (2002)
A B-film horror/comedy romp that sees Elvis Presley (Bruce Campbell) and JFK (Ozzie Davis), tromp around their nursing home trying to prevent an Egyptian Mummy from sucking the souls out of all their fellow octogenarians (old people).

During these trying times we've had to cut expenses and Netflix was a casualty (as some other things). But we still have Prime! So on the flight I watched old episodes of "I've Got A Secret" and "I Love Lucy" to pass time on the flight.

That's a fun one! I haven't seen it in years, but I've got a soft spot for campy horror comedies like that.

Oh yeah, and I really enjoyed it (but I'm also a big fan of Bruce Campbell). I heard that there was going to be a sequel/prequel called Bubba Nosferatu, but Bruce backed out because him and the writer couldn't agree on the story line (as if that really matters in these kinds of movies).

I never watched The Goonies. Also never saw Gremlins 2, is it anywhere near as entertaining as the first one?

The Goonies is a classic! It's definitely worth watching, though admittedly I haven't seen it for a looooong time.
It's been many years since I've seen either of the Gremlins flicks, though I recall #2 being entertaining but not as good as the first. I still enjoyed it but the first is definitely superior.
