How quickly we can be taken from our comfortable places in life and transplanted back to a time of intense pain and discomfort.

My wife got a few friends and some family together for her mom's 82 birthday.  One of the men there was a former youth group kid now hitting 30.  As we got seated at the restaurant, I could have sworn that the man's wife leaned over to him and said she didn't want me sitting next to her.  I did their pre-marital counseling and performed their wedding, and she doesn't want me next to her?  Do I stink?  Am I so grotesquely fat that she is disgusted by my very presence?

I feel like I am right back in high school with people treating me like garbage for no reason.  If she doesn't want me around, just tell me plainly and I will grant your wishes.

Sorry you had to go through that.  

Sometimes, I really can't stand people.

Good news…. Indiana Jones 5 has finished filming

Bad news…doesn’t come out til next summer

While I typically stink at plumbing, tonight I am attempting to change out the controllers and elements in our water heater.  The basement flooded recently and fried the innards.  Here is hoping that the Lord blesses me with enough wisdom to actually fix it.  Cold showers or bathing in the sink is not fun.

With the improvement in the weather, I decided to shave my face and my scalp. Looking--and feeling--good.

I am going to have to start limiting my mileage.  I cannot afford for gas to keep climbing.  The cost of living has drastically increased faster than my rate of pay.

I know what you mean. I may end up staying in town when I go on vacations from now on. I will likely limit my driving to and from work.

The gaz is here very expensive too.

I had the hardest time falling asleep last night.  I have this sharp pain in my upper back that hurt enough to wake me up pretty much every time I moved in bed (which apparently is quite a bit).  I'm not used to having any back pain...getting old isn't for the faint of heart. 

The weather around here has been so strange lately. Last Saturday it was in the 70s. Today it got up to the 50s but now it's snowing and it's only going to be 26 tomorrow, but is supposed to be 60 by Monday. I don't mind snow but the constant change between spring and winter temps is getting annoying.

Same here in the Ozarks, bro.  It got down to 13 this morning, and we're expected to hit 70 about Wednesday.  

It's a chilly 50 degrees this morning in the Arizona desert.

It was almost 70 here yesterday, and today we wake up to about 5 inches of snow.  The overnight low will be 11 degrees.  We will be back up in the 60s by Tuesday.  Tennessee's weather is a tad schizophrenic.

About 5 inches of snow in Eastern TN, too.

In the UK it was what you'd expect.  Overcast.

Fortunately for us, the sun came out despite cold temperatures and melted most of the roads clear.  We will hit 58 degrees today, so the rest of the snow will mostly be gone.  Sadly, my "spring" break will end without a weather related extention.

Your weather reminds me of living in Western Washington.  We would have grey skies the better part of 9 months out of the year.

Lots of exciting NCAA hoop offerings yesterday.  Houston and Arizona are legit, and they square off against each other next time.

We were only down for two days this time instead of 9 like the last time.

Went ahead and cancelled my Disney + package.  I never bothered to watch The Eternals, and Moon Knight means nothing to me.  The wokeness/child predation pimped by this pernicious organization was the last straw.

I just found out via my younger bro that it is currently snowing up in Minnesota.
