Sorry Vonnie My Dad's birthday is on December 4th, I know it's gonna be hard
I'm feeling it with the both of you. My father's birthday is the day after Thanksgiving (and two days after mine).
That's hard. My Dad's birthday was November 5th. Lost him 10 years ago to cancer. I baked a cake, picked flowers, worked in the garden (he was an avid gardener), and said prayers to his memory. I always find that I gravitate to doing things I think he'd like on his birthday. For some reason it just makes me feel more connected to him. I miss him

On a lighter note who is already listening to Christmas music?
I usually wait to get my tree until the second weekend of December. If we come out of lockdown, I'll get my tree then. Usually I don't listen to Christmas music until I start putting up a tree. If I can't have a tree this year though I'll have to figure something else out. Should be an adventure in decorating. Maybe a branch from my plum tree. Talk about a Charlie Brown tree.

I like that idea. The first thing that comes to mind is my pop sitting in the living room in his underwear watching wrestling and yelling at the tv. Maybe I'll give that a try.

Hey, at least you are actually considering putting ON underwear for sitting around the house. LOL

Beloved Golden Girls actress Betty White passed away today at age 99. What a sad note to end 2021 on!

We started the New Year without the kitchen. My husband and brother have removed all things in the kitchen. Wow, what a mess it was.
Now we have to camp in our house. The new kitchen will come in the week of January 17th.
