Egg nog is disgusting swill that should not be.
Boiled custard is the best! It is thicker and doesn't have the spices that make you feel like you are drinking dirty milk with sugar in it
I may have sensory issues.

People who drink egg nog are just like Democrats: all those people CAN be wrong!

I'm feeling it with the both of you. My father's birthday is the day after Thanksgiving (and two days after mine).

On a lighter note who is already listening to Christmas music?
I'm not much of a Christmas music fan myself (at least not the traditional stuff) so I never rush to listen to much of it. My wife will probably start listening to Christmas music the instant she serves up the pumpkin pie after Thanksgiving dinner.

I haven't started listening to Christmas music yet. But probably will very soon. We're looking forward to the holidays.

Listening to Christmas music already! Just bought Nat King Cole's Christmas album on green vinyl over the weekend. Back in July I saw some Christmas records at Walmart. They were discounted to $10 so I picked up Bing Crosby on white vinyl and Frank Sinatra on red vinyl. Looking forward to spinning them this season.
So far it's just been the radio for me. One station in town is already all Christmas music.

Oh and I'll add that our tree will be up within minutes after Thanksgiving dinner. Last year we bought one of those that's prelit. It assembles fast. In previous years we've had a live tree but grew tired of watering it and picking up needles. One year the tree fell over and dumped water everywhere. So last year I went to Lowes and bought a fake one.

The wife usually makes me help her put up the tree sometime during that 3 day break after Thanksgiving. Fake trees have gotten much better (and realistic) looking over the last 10-20 years, so much more convenient that buying a live tree every year.
