Nice, but I won't believe it until I see the pictures! _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Life is making me upset. It's not easy, and never was meant to be easy... but it is what it is, and we have to keep reminding ourselves and each other that it's God's plan, not ours. He's the One with the ultimate plan, much of which we don't understand so long as we're in our bodies of pain, death and suffering. There's a day set aside for each of us when we will come to KNOW even as we are known - we will understand all the "whys" and we will cast our crowns at the feet of Jesus and exalt Him for all eternity. It's then that we will understand. Until then, we try to show each other love and understanding and God blesses us with great ROCK and METAL to ease this suffering !!

Basically finished my "spring cleaning" today. Yesterday morning moved all the furniture and cleared as much of the floor for the carpet cleaner to come by this morning. Had so much cleaned up that my bed was full/had to sleep on the couch. While in the process I went ahead and dusted everything and polished everything. He came by this morn, cleaned the carpets,I left for 5 hours letting it dry, then moved all the furniture back and set everything back up.

| I only have a hard case for my acoustic guitar. My basses have high-quality gig bags and my electric guitar has a cheaper one. | |

| I have a hardshell case for my charvel also. The charvel is very similar to fender guitars in the way the neck feels. When I started playing guitar back in the 70s most people played fender or gibson. I learned on a fender and find gibsons difficult..great guitars though. When I was young the real good players were always in either the gibson camp or the fender camp...ibanez, jackson and all the others weren't around. Funny how many started out on guitars from sears or wards back then. |

My very first bass came from Sears. I loved it even though it was very cheaply made. It played very smoothly and sounded decent. I am doing a youth lock-in at church tonight. I will be a walking zombie tomorrow. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

I know how you feel when this is over. Glad it's Saturday. Guilty/Forgiven, thank you for you post on what I've written. Music really helps to stop your thoughts.

| Lock ins are great fun! We had 29 kids in attendance which is totally awesome! My wife even let me take a 4 hour nap during the event which was even more awesome! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

We've been trying to do that for a little bit, but most people in our youth group work the next morning… we just stay up late instead.

| We had a couple that couldn't come until later due to basketball games and one from work. We made room for late comers up to a certain point. Also, we had one teen that needed to leave by 10 PM so he could be up today to help someone move to a new house. We made that work, too.
I was amazed that I actually got to sleep for 4 hours at the event. That's the best I've ever felt after a lock-in!

| Last night, our youth group played hide-and-go-seek until like 11:30 and then we headed out to the truck stop diner. At that point, I called my parents for a ride because it's exam week and I need my sleep (I know, weak, but the more tired the worse for me). I was already very late and I wouldn't get home until 1 otherwise. Imagine my reaction when my mom wakes me up at 8:30 and tells me we have to leave at 9 to go into town. Oh well, I managed to have an alright day anyway, and mixed my studying with the odd jam session. | |

| After taking another 4 hour nap when we got home from the lock-in, my wife and I went with sabidoo to a local gun range and did some target shooting in honor of Gun Appreciation Day.
