My son's rat got her claw/paw stuck in her cage yesterday. She freaked out and pulled away so hard that it severed one of her fingers off (yuck)

My father had his gun locked up in a lock box with a key and I still managed to find the key and get the gun out when I was 10, fortunately I didn't kill myself (it was close though).
It's a coincidence that I was just telling my wife a similar story last night. When I was a kid (7 through 13ish), my Dad had a gun cabinet with a lock for safety (7 foot tall glass door cabinet). He kept it locked, but (as a stupid, curious kid) I was able to lift the door and wiggle over the lock just enough to reach in a grab the rifle closest to the opening. Me and my friends held it and aimed it and pretended to shoot things. We werent stupid enough to point it at each other and we held it carefully as to not drop it.
It helped that my dad taught me how to hold and fire a gun safely. I kept those things in mind.
Moral is, I was a kid, the guns were locked away, and I still got to them. You can never be TOO CAREFUL when it comes to your precious children.

What's the deal with band members who wear their own band t-shirts ???
I keep seeing this and wonder what the deal is. Isn't their a rule somewhere that you shouldn't wear your own band's shirt ??

It's seems a little odd to me too, kind of like a crass self-promotion.

In the video to "Weapons Of Our Warfare", Brian is wearing a shirt with the album's artwork on it. Look around 1:36.

I should add that I agree. Wearing my church's tshirt is a little different than if I had a band and I wore my own band's shirts.

Not that this is an important discussion in the least... but my thing is: we already know who you are up there on the stage or in your band photo... therefore I think it's more cool to wear anything but your own band's shirt.

In everyday going-out-in-public, is it acceptable to wear your own band shirt?
