| Hmmm... that bad, huh? So I guess there's no point listening to those samples? The title "Divine Invitation" sure sounded like they COULD be Christian, or at least based in some Christian beliefs. So what's the bad news that you've heard about them?

You like that, huh? It just seemed to fit your question on the previous page SO well! - rockerVu2 wrote:

at one day my guitar was in the livingroom too and he tried to figure out how a Les Paul is tasting. We were not good friends at that moment. No, I guess NOT!!! So, did you have rabbit stew for dinner the next day? -----------

- I think the current age of metal is the best metal ever. Listening to all the new awesome metal coming out ( christian and secular) really makes some of the old stuff sound weak and thin. The remix's of alot of the old albums is also putting some new life in the old albums.
The problem with the old stuff was not the metal itself (for the most part, anyway), but the production. Production techniques, as well as the equipment involved, have come a LONG way over the past 30 years. Personally, I think the newer bands do not have the talent that a lot of the '80s bands had... they just have better production. -----------

| You know it might be time to replace your guitar strings when they get rusty… I'll buy a big pack of Elixirs when I get back. | |

| Meh... rusty strings are a part of life! What guitar do you use Elixir's on? I LOVE them on my Taylor, but I wouldn't use them on an electric... ---------- | |

I have tons of music that I've gotten in trades over the years and I've discovered some of the people I've traded with weren't too discerning in their music. I've learned that some of the albums I've attained appear Christian but are not even close. I learned that Altaria, though a very talented band, are not Christian, nor are they even Christian friendly. Their belief system is more of an inner light thing - a sort of self exaltation. In other words, not for me.

| So, like a "new age" or Buddhist kind of thing?
Hmmm... interesting that they'd have an album title "Divine Invitation" then, huh? Makes it sound quite Christian. I wonder how it fits into their beliefs...

| I think I need to take out some "baby insurance"... My daughter was sitting on my lap and suddenly threw her head back for some unknown reason, making some pretty solid contact with my face and destroying my glasses in the process. I'm wearing my old ones now, or I wouldn't be able to see well enough to get onto the internet, let alone type this message! I just hope the optician can bend the frame back into shape without snapping it... it's pretty badly twisted. I'd hate to think I'll have to keep wearing these old ones until I get a new pair... it's not THAT much of a difference in prescription, but it's enough that the words on the screen are starting to give me a headache... And I hope the optician decides to be open later than noon tomorrow (Saturday), because I am NOT a morning person! ----------- | |

I hope we are having time to be on the beach too.

| I saw a massive cab-over truck from the Netherlands last night (this is France, so it's kinda special to see anything bigger than a minivan). It was from a flower shop, so I wondered if Vonnie was driving it. | |

| 7:30 shouldn't be allowed to occur twice in the same day. The one in the evening is fine, but the other one should be banned... ...it shows up FAR too early in the day!

| Yes. God is with you to help you to give them what they need.
Today God showed me how big He is and that all things are in His hands. They are revealed to us when it's His time.
