Our Bible Study leader dude does a Bible study via Skype with his grandkids every tuesday morning. He's no techy either, so one of these days I'll hafta download it and play around with it

I hate the sound of vocals on skype. It is so 'perfect' that it sucks and doesn't sound human as there are NO subtleties that a real voice would have.

The kids did the Skype thing with their Grandma in California for a while, but it was not really well recieved. The video was terrible (cheap cameras, not really Skypes fault)....and the kids got tired of having to converse with the slight audio delays.

My folks have Skype . We use it every Christmas morning when I go over to their place to chat with my bro who now lives in Minnesota.

Right now I am in the middle of a 5 day off from work weekend. Tomorrow morning I will be driving out to Tuscaloosa, Al. for the weekend and will drive back Sunday morning.
