Well we are getting a good bit of rain today. The forecast thru most of this coming week is rain. We can thank the tropical wave that is in the Gulf for all the rain,bleh.

Got stung by a wasp on Tuesday, got my knees and my arm scraped yesterday.

Wasps have infested the woods where we usually run, so that's where I got mine from.
One kid in Grade 7 was stung once, and stood still from the shock - got stung over 40 times and was sent the hospital. Do pray for Joe.

Even I have been to a Hard Rock Cafe! I've been to the one at Disneyworld twice! I've been to the one in Gatlinburg, TN once.

Isn't that ironic? I've been to 2 others but never the one in Nashville! scratch

We had a cookout in the backyard last night for all the family (yes, we let sabidoo come over). I have a couple of yard games that we played after we ate. Then, as it got dark, we watched the movie Grease that me and my siblings know almost every word to every song. I have a portable projector that I used to shoot the movie on the side of my concrete building out back. We had to cut it off as it started to rain. After we got everything inside and everyone went home, it stopped. It hasn't rained in weeks, and it has to ruin my party.

We are supposed to get strong storms today off that tropical depression that came in this weekend. We need the rain so bad that I will be glad to get it. We will also get our first fall temps as our highs for the week are to be in the upper 60s. It was 102 yesterday. What a drop!

It rained last night here in the communist state of Illinois. First good rain we've had in quite a while. Temps are supposed to be in the upper 70's by day, lower 60's/upper 50's by night for the next week. Ahh, finally a break from the blast furnace! bounce

We.... are..... beat.

The whirlwind wedding, reception, and drive to Long Beach to get the newlyweds on their Mexican cruise, is finished ! Weeeeeeeeee did it !!!!!!

I gotta say, this was by far the coolest, most awesome wedding I've ever been to (and not just cuz it was my daughters) - we had so much fun.

The photog is putting the finishing touches on the pix, when she's done I'll share a couple in the pictures thread.

We are having a movie night for the youth group tonight. I gave them their choice between Soul Surfer and The Grace Card. The kids chose The Grace Card. Here's hoping that God will speak through this movie to their hearts.
