Your new CDs and downloads for 2015.

Just arrived today ...



Wanna hear some of it? Too bad!  It's official release isn't until March 23, and I respect the band's request to not share it prior to the release date.   Of course, I won't share it after the release date either, as that would be copyright infringement.

Anyhow, it includes the 78 minute documentary on Blu-ray, a bonus DVD (watching that now, appears to be all the original members just sitting around a bar table chatting), and a CD with several songs spanning their career along with bits of dialog between the songs.  I've been pretty excited for getting this.

Got mine yesterday as well.  If you're a Kansas fan, you should get this.  My wife and I watched the Blu-Ray last night.

^^ I watched it as well.  What did you think?  I thought it was very interesting and informative, and I was impressed with how relatively clean the members of this band have apparently been as opposed to other secular artists, with the alcohol, drugs, sex, etc., although I don't doubt some of that was there, just not discussed in the film.  However, I felt the film was incomplete because it stopped at the fifth album.  No doubt that is because that's shortly before the band began to break apart, but I still would have liked to hear more.  Also, I discovered through my own research that these six guys weren't even the original members!  There were two other "versions" of Kansas before these guys got together and made it work; with Kerry the only solid through I three (I think).

I've just ordered Impellitteri's new album with the bonus tracks.  On course for April...

We both liked it.  And I kind of expected it to stop with the fifth album since that's when things got interesting   This was more "Let's remember the good ol' days".

I have never heard of Missing Persons. Sounds like something worthwhile checking out.
