New Releases for 2015?

Ok, where are the new releases for 2015?  We are half way through February and I have only purchased one new release (Sweet & Lynch).  What else is supposed to be coming out this year, and what are you looking forward too?

The ones that come to my mind are:

Dalit
Forsaken (I think?)
Hesychast
Theocracy (maybe?)
Vardoger
Vials Of Wrath
Warhorse (hopefully)

This kind of talk can make for a disappointing year. 

I hate it when bands say they are going to have a new release out (or even just hint at it) and nothing materializes.  I have kept track of some of these over the years and have been dismayed that they just don't seem to get released.

Here are a few of them.

Darrell Mansfield - New Revelation (since at least 2012)
Shining Force - By the Blood (since at least 2010)
Medisin Wheel - Echo of the Din (since at least 2012)
The Heal - Nuclear Sunset (grunge/blues project with Rex Carroll since at least 2012)
X-Sinner - Going Out With a Bang (since at least 2012)
Jacob's Dream - Where Vultures Gather (since 2013)
Zaxas - Returns the Machine (since 2013)
Neon Cross - Third Album (since 2008?)

I am looking forward to the Recon reissue that is supposed to happen this year, and may also check out the new Impellitteri when it get's the U.S. release.  I have also heard that there is supposed to be a new Hero release this year.

Stryper is releasing a new one this year.


That Neon Cross has been promised since 2002.

Things do not look that bad when factoring the upcoming Worldview album and that Armageddon USA will be putting out its sophomore release.

Don't forget Millennial Reign and our own Derek Close will release new ones this year.  I'll be getting down and dirty with that blues album, too.

Skillet, The Letter Black, and Fireflight will all release new albums this year.

I am looking forward to X-Sinner and Medisin Wheel.

The GX Project announced to release a new album this year too.

I heard Barry Manilow was working on something... could just be overhyped rumors though

I forgot about Armageddon (which is funny because I just read about it in the most recent "news" at Angelicwarlord.com)  I really hope we see the Worldview album as well, it is another one that was initially promised last year but didn't materialize.

I didn't care for the last release from Fireflight or TLB, I will definitely be "trying" each before plunking down any money, but I'm certainly down with some new Skillet.

Medisin Wheel broke up a year or so ago, but it looks like they might be back together (I don't know).  I wouldn't be surprised if their new album doesn't happen this year (but I would really like to see it get released).

Pillar had a successfully funded kickstarter in 2014 and promised the album that year, but it hasn't come yet.


Ryan Clark (Demon Hunter) and Randy Torres (Project 86) formed an electronica project called NYVES and had a successful kickstarter campaign; no word on when that CD will come out.

The new project has been named Joshua's Creed.  I'm not sure if I'm going to name the album or just go with self titled.

Someone has visit a festival with much secular bands.
Skillet was the only Christian band playing there.

We have forgotten to mention Impelliteri.

If this get's a release in the U.S. I will most likely pick it up.

I also remember that Decyfer Down had a failed kickstarter campaign.  Hopefully they will find some way to record/release new music this year.

Skillet hasn't really "less Christian" lyrics as their faith is still coming thru in their albums. Rise was chalk full of "Christian Songs". I think the issue is that some what more JPM or stuff like their earlier albums. But if you look at their last couple of albums, they are now bigger then they were before and they haven't changed their message.
