| Just pulled an all-nighter as part of a youth event. Essentially, somewhere around 400 Québec youth got together at 7:00 PM or so in a university sports complex in Montréal and stayed up (well, not all of them) until 6:00 AM. I was awake 25 hours before I got to bed (I didn't sleep at all on the 2-hour bus ride back to school), where I slept 9 hours. Now, I'm aware it's night, but it feels like early morning because everything is dark.  | |

| I've been working on my next cigar box guitar. I am almost ready to actually start assembling it. I still have to paint the neck with tongue oil (3 coats) and add another coat of polyurethane to the actual box before I can actually assemble it and play it.
I also started building a cigar box stomp box. A stomp box is just an electronic box that you tap with your foot to make a bass drum sound. It's a simple box to make. Anyway, the one I am making will have a small child's tambourine inside. This will give you both a bass drum sound with the jingle of a tambourine at the same time. I have painted it with clear polyurethane as well.
