Why do you have shoes on your hand? Just in case I lose one of the ones on my feet, silly. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Somebody break off their cd/dvd tray trying to use it as a cup holder again? Nope, doctor appointment followed by a dentist appointment At least it's better than seeing a urologist followed by a proctologist

| I would rather see the dentist over the proctologist any day. But it seems like every time I see my regular doctor now he wants to stick his finger in places it really doesn't belong....getting old isn't for the faint of heart. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | I have done that, and I can honestly say that it is not fun. Sometimes you can be your own worst enemy, especially when you denigrate yourself. Break that habit. | |

Just be thankful that you have separate doctors for those functions. I don't know about you, but that man would NOT be putting his fingers in my mouth if he was both a dentist and a proctologist. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

Because the Spirit inside you knows you're wrong. You are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. Take it from someone who is more than twice your age...when your opinion disagrees with God's, you're wrong.

- Getting less and less impressed with Apple's reliability.
I have heard other people say that as well. Why do you think this? First, my iPhone 5 has a problem with its battery, which drains WAY faster than it should. There is a battery replacement program in place, however. I took it to an Apple Store, and they said that since it still held 90% of its original charge capacity, there was no need to change it. But, they detected hints of a software problem that may be why the battery drains like mad. So now I'm going to have to wipe my phone, which means I need to back up my photos (no big deal) and save my contacts by hand, since my phone strangely won't let me save them online. It's a pain, but I needed to delete many of my contacts anyway, and I just kept numbers of people I talk to. Still, it's annoying this is happening. I've been meaning to do the wipe for a month now, but I just have not had the free time to do so, although this weekend I should. Now, my 6-year-old MacBook Pro is being a pain. I can't get software updates for certain Apple apps until I download and install the new Yosemite OS (and EVERY time I start those apps, they remind me to install the new OS). So I bit the bullet and downloaded it… and then the installer ran into a trouble and wouldn't keep going. It kept hitting the same wall and simply would not install. I tried redownloading the OS using an included installer feature, but it kept running into the same problem. Fortunately, I had a backup drive, and I was forced to restore my otherwise bricked laptop (that I need for school) to a backup that was a few days old. Also fortunately, all of my homework and composed music is also backed up to Dropbox, so I've lost nothing at all. It seems kind of hypocritical, in a way, that my computer would pester me to update and then be unable to install said update. (not to mention, until recently, it didn't actually download even if I clicked the Download button). I could also relate the story of my brother's 3-year-old MacBook Pro's graphics card that was faulty, and that Apple seemingly refuses to recall, even though many people have the same problem. Things used to be so much more simple and reliable with Apple products. Rant over.

| It is that way with many electronic devices. One thing that many companies have done away with is their product testing divisions. Oh, they still do some testing, but not like they once did. They will release the product knowing that there are issues and allow the first buyers to make customer support calls until they get enough information to release a fix.
I've had phones and computers that were that way and especially handheld GPS units. Garmin has NO field testing anymore and relies totally on the consumer to do their dirty work. So, if you ever buy a new product of Garmin's, expect it to be a bit weird until the fixes are released. I would go so far as to say never buy their latest release until it has been out for 6 months. By then, they have the software set up to scan for fixes and alert you to update your machine.
