Why? I find this interesting though. For shoes I'm more "like a guy" because I have a minimal amount of shoes and I only like to get new shoes if I need to. I also mainly buy black shoes because they go with everything. Really for shoes, you can't really say if someone is like a girl or not. There are both guys and gals who obsess over shoes. Guys who obsess are often into basketball and they have loads of different pairs. There are many gals who love shoes, too. It's mostly young people it seems like. It seems like people care less as they get older. Especially, but not exclusive to, adult men. By that I mean maybe 30+. At least that's what it seems to be from my observations.

| Why three pairs? Well, one was a new pair of hiking boots that I needed for geocaching. The others are too big since I've lost weight. I needed something that was light weight and comfortable. I found some that were pretty expensive but were seriously discounted on sale.
Then, I bought two pairs of walking shoes. These were on sale buy one, get one half off. They were marked down to begin with. However, they were SO comfortable. I couldn't care less about how "cool" they are. I am 45 and spend a lot of time on my feet. COMFORT is where its at for me, folks. These babies were very comfy and have memory foam inserts. I can store them under a bed just as well as they can sit on a store shelf at the price I ended up paying.
Well, I can't now count buying 3 pairs. My wife bought them from me to give me for Christmas. Then, my mother-in-law bought them from her to give to me for Christmas. Does this now mean that I will be getting second-hand (or in this case, 3rd hand) boots? | My roommate is an athlete and must have, like, 15 pairs of shoes. I have no idea why so many.
I currently have tennis shoes as my daily beat (which will soon be retired as snow is now falling and they're getting holey), with laceless leather dress shoes as my other choice. I have running shoes with me, although they remain underused, and sandals, which are even less used now. I wear slippers in the dorm. I have steel-toed work boots with me for the rare times I use a brush saw, and winter boots for the onslaught of snow.

| I went to a church in Montréal with my Bible school as part of our ministry, and I was quite shocked to realize that one family attending used to go to my parents' church in my town, before they moved to Montréal. Somehow, I ended up not only going to their very church, but also eating at their place (the students were split up between a couple of church families for lunch). It was very surprising indeed. | |

I have heard other people say that as well. Why do you think this? I am feeling a bit put out by Microsoft as well. I hate, no LOATHE, Windows 8. I know they have made it to be more like a tablet interface, but it just sucks. They stripped a lot of useful tools like Windows Media Player and Windows Movie Maker out of it. They even took away Microsoft Works. Instead of learning from Apple and packing the Windows OS with useful tools for free, they stripped it. Now, we're getting even less for the same money. Windows 10 had better be better or I might have to buy my first Mac. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| I have Media Player and Movie Maker on my Windows 8. Plus I installed Classic Shell which bypasses the tile screen and goes straight to my Desktop.
With Steve Jobs gone and not there to hold the nonsense back, I don't believe Apple is going to maintain its normal standard.
