I took it and got Metallica. Then I took one to see what genre of metal I am. It said classic heavy metal.

I remember listening to the radio back in the 80s and hearing song dedications from lover to lover.. and Every Breath was a comon request back then. It's not as creepy as that little-known Jethro Tull song… He's still watching me watching you…

True, but only because we are cooler than the guitar players. Sadly, the world hasn't figured that out yet. To all our fellow bassists out there, . I only learned to play guitar so I wouldn't make those nerdy guitarists feel bad about the instrument they chose and all the attention being on them when the band plays. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Today is D-DAY for Hydrocodone products. Anyone taking Norco, Vicodin, Lorcet, Lortab or any other prescriptions with Hydrocodone in it will now HAVE to get a written SCHEDULE II form for all refills from now on. This will cost Dr's a fortune in RX Pads, also costs pharmacies more with all the thousands of pages of extra paperwork they must submit to the State. Not to mention the inconvenience of the patients who REALLY need this pain medication. No longer can a patient call it in and just go pick it up at the pharmacy. They must wait until a Dr has time to sign all the Hydrocodones for the day, then go to the Dr to pick up a physical RX to take to the pharmacy (the same as they have to do with Percocet, Morphine, and Oxycontin). Gonna be a nightmare ! | |

| There have been several doctors across the nation that have lost their licenses for over-prescribing these drugs. That is probably why the new regulations are now in place. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| While walking down the corridor of a college today, I noticed the bulletin boards for the Latino Students Association, Black Student's Association, Muslim Student's Association, and Asian Student's Association. Why is it that a person starting a White Student's Association would be considered a racist? | |

| Well, there are probably a few reasons... For one, our country's history of slavery has marred that I believe. Also, if white folks are the majority at that college, then I suppose minorities are going to feel like they may not belong or that they stand out when they don't want to. The whole reason for a club is to gather like-minded or otherwise similar people together: to be able to "fit in." So if ethnic-specific clubs exist to unify minorities, what's the point of unifying the majority? I'm not sure that makes it "racist," but I could see how the intentions of said white group would be in question.
I was a member/student-leader though Intervarsity Christian Fellowship throughout my time in college and race/ethnicity was a very big deal there. I have LOTS to say about it as I felt alienated/guilty for being white and that I didn't have anything to offer because of all the attention the minority groups got. However, I also came to understand some of the privileges and benefits I get as a white male that are easy to take for granted. Intervarsity has ethnic-specific weekend retreats/conferences and I actually went to a "white" one. It was really helpful in encouraging the fact that I do indeed have a culture, not culturally-void as I once felt, and that I do have something to bring to the table too. It was good stuff, but yeah, going to a "white conference" definitely has its stigma no matter what.

| Alldat, you are 100% correct as to the reasoning behind the new rules on this pain med. At least that is what they are telling the public. There are other motivating factors behind this change. Making a medicine more hard to obtain does not stop those who rely on that medicine for daily relief (or those who are addicted and/or use it recreationally). They will merely evolve to the new changes and get what they've always got, or move to something stronger (or go to Mexico or Canada). I can guarantee the drug companies will be raising their prices exponentially on these meds due to the possible loss of some customers who think it's too much trouble to deal with the new laws.
Should be interesting to say the least.
