I'm trusting that was a deliberate choice of words? BearDad, I think I've seen spiders about that big in my area. I once had a wolf spider in my room - it came in with the laundry. I was not a happy camper.

I'm trusting that was a deliberate choice of words? I was wondering that too... Wolf spiders are gnarly! We have them out here too, though they're not super common. We have a ton of black widows though. Those things will mess you up... Speaking of creepy crawly critters, I had a dream that there was this massive gopher snake at my parents' place. They can get maybe six feet or so in length but in my dream it was probably 25'. I was chasing after it trying to get a picture haha.

| Now see, if I was nearby your area Chris, I would hit that thrift store and probably buy a few of those. But like you, I'm not really into the "they all sound the same worship bands". But I do enjoy some Chris Tomlin and Todd Agnew, Sonicflood, Deliriou5 and a few others. Gotta be in the mood though.
Just as long as the Praise Band wasn't in that box - you KNOW I want those. I ended up buying #1 through 4, but would love to have 5 thru 10. I love the Praise Band.

| I hate having to play cheap musical instruments. They're usually quite hard to play. | |

| If you have a decent professional set up, even cheap instruments can be great. My favorite electric guitars right now that I own are not big name brands. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| The problem is that a lot of the time, they aren't very well set up, so you have tremendously high action and rather gross strings (on a guitar or bass) or weak-feeling surfaces (on drums). | |

| True. But, if you know a decent guy who works on guitars & basses, they can level the frets, adjust the neck, lower the action, and set your intonation. I far prefer my SX Mexican made hollow body to my Epiphone Dot that I paid 3 times as much for. My Douglas 7 string puts them both to shame and was a few bucks less than the SX. It came in a shipping carton and was perfectly set up for me. The intonation is great and the axe is lightweight. I would definitely buy another Douglas if I had to buy one.
I wouldn't mind having a Douglas bass. I may have to get rid of my Tobias 6 string as it is so heavy and causes my back to hurt after several hours of practice. If I ever sell it, I will replace it with a Douglas or Brice bass. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

“Make no mistake, son...” “Yes?” “That’s it. Good talk, son.” My dad likes to joke, "women: can't live with 'em..." And that's it.

I took the silly test and didn't expect it to be accurate, but it gave me IRON MAIDEN !! LOL ! Isn't that cool ?!

| Volunteered at a Salvation Army supper tonight with some of the students from school. After serving meals, a friend and I sat down with a man who, it turns out, is absolutely fascinated with cinema. He used to run a film museum in the area, but it was shut down and so he lost his job because of it. He still has his stuff in a warehouse, so all he needs now is someone who'll invest - and that's what he doesn't have. It was very cool to hear him talk. Please pray for him - so that he could somehow reopen his museum, and for his salvation (he said he wasn't a Christian). Thanks. | |

| Yes, it's very "Big Brother" - Government conspiracy type stuff. I recall an old interview with The Police's lead singer, Sting, where he said the same thing... that it's not a nice love song, but rather a disturbing Orwellian "1984" creepy song.
I remember listening to the radio back in the 80s and hearing song dedications from lover to lover.. and Every Breath was a comon request back then.

Sting always hears from people that say they played it at their wedding as their first dance
