Went to a water park with some friends yesterday. It was worth almost getting lost (we had to make a detour to avoid a closed highway), almost hitting things in blinding rain on the drive there (my friends were scared but I wasn't - I was at the wheel ), paying through the nose for lunch, and getting some sunburn.

Some of the most vivid memories are the ones that provide physical or emotional scars

That's true. Though there are those times where you get hurt physically and it happened so fast and you were in so much shock you don't even know what just happened. Like this one time I was leaning in a chair outside and I got little scratches on my leg and it was bleeding. There were scars there for a while. It happened so fast. I always remember emotional scars though. Those really to you and come back every now and then and it hurts a lot. I don't want to cry now...
And now the weather.

Metal music, of course silly. I think. It is called "Metal and Cultural Impact Conference" so it has to be music, right? Right?? Oh man, I better make sure...
