| We had a big storm today too. No blackout, but a quick brownout that caused a surge when the air conditioner tried to come back on... threw a breaker, that's all. We did have a blackout for a couple of hours about a week ago or so... no idea what caused that. My baby's first blackout! She handled it fine... just wanted to play. Had a few scorchers again lately... over 102 today, 109 a couple of days ago. "Great White North" my........ -------- | |

| Going back to the previous page... About mp3s:
Yeah Alldat, I know there are services available, but a lot of them seem to make it more difficult for Canadians for some reason. For example, with iTunes, you MUST have a U.S. tax number (or something like that... I may not remember the exact term now), even if you're not in the U.S. Doesn't really make sense... and I don't need the headaches right now.
I suppose I COULD offer mp3s through email... customer buys mp3, I email it to them... seems kinda mickey-mouse to do it that way, though.

- Seems like lots of people diss on Windows Media Player, but I have used it almost everyday for 13 years and seldom have any problems with it.
Agreed. I've used many players over the years and the 2 I always come back to is WMP and iTunes. WMP for a quick song, or drag and drop album to listen to, and iTunes for all my playlists. I used to have one called Rhapsody a few years back and that was my fav, but they don't have it around anymore.

| I've never had any problems with Media Player.
I DID however find Real Player to be a very problematic program, and back in its early days, its sound quality just didn't measure up with anything else, so I never even gave it another chance over the years.
I use Media Player for playing CDs.
Surprisingly enough, the program I have stuck with for playing mp3s and .wav's and stuff like that is a really OLD version of WinAmp. I find it to be the easiest to use. It loads quickly, plays reliably, and has a super easy user interface, designed like the console of a CD player.

| Yesterday it was "Sisters day". With four sisters and my sister-in-law we have rented a whisperboat. (A boat with an electric engine}. We went to a national park with lots of channels to sail. We have had a lot of fun. The picnic was fun too. I'll post a video so you can see how it looks there. | |

God has always provided.. but so barely that He has to keep intervening.. can't God provide enough that it won't disappear almost as soon as He provides it? And can't it be, at least in my eyes, a more reliable and consistent source? I trust in God to provide... but it really gets old having to choose between necessities to buy before every pay day.

They will submit your stuff for you and save you many steps. They charge $49 per project to do this. This also allows you to sell the downloads on their website as well. They collect your pay from these download sites and send you a check everytime you hit a certain dollar amount that you can set. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

Be careful--you seem like you are on a little of a slippery slope with wanting to criticize God's provision.

| I'm not criticizing God's provision.. I have depended on it for years and will depend on it for the rest of my life... I'm just having a pity party cause it doesn't always match up to what I would prefer and would make me more comfortable... lol .. not really my "wants" that I am concerned about it's all the bills that aren't paid and the debt that isn't going away...
whatever God is teaching me through this I hope I am a "quick study" so He doesn't have to go over this material again... though I know I am a "hard head" so He has to go over the same things more than once before I learn my lesson and then after a period of time.. sometimes I forget my lesson.
God is my supply and the shelter from the storms of life.. He is my God.. as the Psalmist said .. "though He slay me, yet will I trust Him" ..

| No Thomas no one had to swim yesterday. Ohh yes one of my sisters almost. A better discripton for a whisper boat is an electric outboard motor. But let me tell you the ducks there have had a bad day yesterday. | |

| Unworthy: Chris is right... we need to be real careful about what we get caught up on. Believe me, I know that being broke and in debt is no fun... I've been there... had times in my life where I was in debt up to my neck with no idea how I was ever going to get out of it. But I did. God DOES provide. Whether we can see HOW He will do it or not does not matter ONE BIT. The ONLY thing that matters is that we continue to trust HIm COMPLETELY.
No, God never told us that all of our WANTS will be met. Believe me, many of MY wants have not been met. I never wanted to be blind. I never wanted to receive a back injury that would continue to cause me pain for the next 26 years. I would have liked to be younger than 40 when my first child turns 1. I would have liked to be living in a house instead of an apartment by now. I whish that I had never been in a similar financial situation to where you seem to be now. But in the end, NONE of these things matter. This life is temporary. What lies beyond is what counts. Keep that in mind, and you can make it through anything.
