| yeah.. I was thinkin' about what my wife was sayin' to me the other day and how I've been feeling.. and realizing that God is still in control and that His provision is always enough and is only enough to remind me that He is my source and trust in Him is paramount and the only trustworthy source of all that I need...
I have been seeking God more and more on this whole situation and His reply has seemed to be "be still in my presence and know that I am God" and there's no more a frustrating reply sometimes than that lol

| Yeah, that's true, it CAN be frustrating to have to trust "blindly" and not know how you're going to get through, but believe me, it's worth it in the end when you finally have a chance to look back at the situation in retrospect and say, "oh, now I get it... THAT'S what God had in mind!" -------- | |

| I've always have been afraid for a disk that's broken with all my music, photos on it. I think this nightmare has become reality. The externe Hard Disk I use to put music and on photos is acting strange. Ohhhh it would be so terrible when I loose all the music I have collected in many years. I hope my "ICT men" are able to fix this for me. | |

| Do you have a DVD burner? If so, get the stuff backed up onto DVD-Rs as quickly as possible!
I too went through a scare recently when moving my studio... The Unforsaken Productions computer stopped working! Yikes! Fortunately, the hard drives are still intact, and I was able to retrieve all the files. Whew! What a relief! I hope you will be as successful.

| The extern hard disk is making a very alarming sound. No, this sound doesn't rock. I have to make a back up once in a while of my music and things I want to safe like photo's from the vacations. I hope it's not so worse as I think. | |

| I have taken to making duplicate copies of all my digital music. I have it on an external drive and also burned to DVD. DVD discs are great because they hold over 4G worth of files. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Yeah, and they are so cheap these days, so you don't have to break the bank to protect your files! You just have to not be lazy like me, and actually DO back up your files! Yvonne: I don't know what prices are like on external drives out there, but they are pretty cheap around here these days. Maybe you should just buy another external unit and copy everything over from the old one to the new one. ---------- | |

| Learning from past devastations, today I have 6 backups of my files. All important files as well as Music, pictures and videos. I have my main storage on my laptop taking 600GB of a 750GB hard drive. Then I have two externals at home, one I call the "mother" - I back up everything to that one about once a week. Another is hooked up to my TV ET system PC. Then in case my house burns down , I have a backup of everything at work, and a backup of just the most important items on a cloud storage. Finally I have everything on an old hard drive that used to give me problems, but works good enough... I store it in my fireproof safe. Maybe a little OCD but, it all started about 10 years ago when one of my PCs crashed that had a photo restoration I'd been working on for 2 weeks !! Lost hours of work, and I was crushed ! At that point I decided you can NEVER have too many backups. | |

| In a way, I only have 3 backups.. the other 3 I use - music shuffle at work, picture shuffle on laptop and video watching on home ET system. | |

| I have obsessive tendencies when I get into projects. I feel bad for my wife cuz it's only after I've been immersed into a project evening after evening, that I realize she feels ignored (which is obviously not my intention) | |

| Just tried to install the new screen door my wife bought....turns out it is over 60 pounds and requires 3/8" diameter lag bolts screwed to the frame for support. After about 45 minutes of trying to set it up I discovered my drill battery had died...and for some reason my spare battery is completely shot (won't even charge). So much for getting this little "honey do" project done tonight. To top if off I lost my temper and threw part of it so now my wife is mad after I wasted over an hour of my time trying to do something for her! _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | That's 1 of the things I like about living in an apartment... I don't have to install anything. I just called maintenance. |

I installed our screen doors several years ago. I had a very similar experience on the first one. I got help on the 2nd after I realized that this was supposed to be a 2 person job. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| We needed a replacement of the dormer window frames in the attic. And it's painting time here. Worked in the yackyard today. The ivy from the neighbors needed to be removed. I think the rest of the jungle needs some work too. Yesterday I thought to hear some makakoo noise from this jungle Yeppers the peppers the HD wasn't broken, it's working again. I'm so relieved now. | |
