| Igor Gouzenkov: Embassy worker in Canada (working for Russia) who reported the presence of spies in the Embassy, during the Cold War. John Alexander Macdonald: first Canadian prime minister. (mixed him up a bit with Alexander Mackenzie, his successor) Alfred von Schlieffen: WWI strategist who established the (partly failed) plan to invade France through Belgium.
The exam went pretty well. Tomorrow will be French, Monday will be science, and Tuesday will be Spanish.

| Our family has a cottage in Québec, and we live in Ontario. One can literally kayak across from Ontario (albeit from a point half-an-hour from where I live) to our cottage. Imagine "border crossings" there In our Grade 10 history manuals, the possible separation of Québec from Canada is a huge topic. Québec has always been a different area from the rest of Canada, given that it's French whereas most of Canada is predominantly English. Québecers have always thought that the Canadian government neglected them. end of my thoughts on QC… | |

Ain't that the truth! Given the way the economy is headed, DBF would have had to start saving for his retirement when he was 3 years old. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I might be working for the MTO someday… (Minister of Transportation of Ontario) If the province's economy fails, then I'm stuck. I have two months to enjoy being alive… then back into the dark dungeon of Grade 11 we go. | |

So are you definitely going to need more surgery? I hope you can find some relief soon. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Thanks. I'm told that the prominent pain I'm having is the boney growths sticking out of the spine itself - It's like having spikes stuck in my back. If they cut me open and cut off those sharp growths, it's a bad idea since the bone would be stimulated to grow more from the trauma of cutting bone. The disk right above that vertebrae is bulging just a little, pushing into the nerves enough to send signals to my brain that my toes are "wet" - weird huh? I keep thinking that I stepped into some water or something. I got an appointment for Monday with Pain Management and they should be able to recommend something - most likely an epidural. That'll keep the swelling down for a while and should hopefully help with the pain. I do thank God that this pain is different from the 9mm disk bulge pain I had in '07 - THAT pain was excrutiating 24/7, whereas I can still function somewhat with this pain.

| Wow man that doesn't sound like fun at all.
The wet toes thing is super weird, but I guess when you start messing with nerves you can get all sorts of strange sensations. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
