| The studio isn't the biggest I've ever seen… but it's very functional. | |

| No, it's not the biggest, that's for sure (at least right now), since I had to clear all the gear out of the room it had been in so that my daughter could actually have her own room. Once we get moved into a bigger place, I'll have all the freedom to set up my studio properly again. But in the meantime, as Andre says, it's quite functional. --------- | |

| Yesterday, I was playing in my church's worship band, and during the first song (A Mighty Fortress Is Our God) my bass was slightly unplugged, so that no sound was coming out. After the second verse, I realized that and I discreetly slid my patch cord back into the hole and things were much better. | |

| Yeah, I felt like an idiot. At the end of the service (after everyone was dismissed) the band did an instrumental cover of How Great Is Our God, and I kinda redeemed my mistake there by going all-out for the fun of it. | |

| My wife and I were ripping up part of our carpet in the living room today to start laying hardwood floors. Well, this is more like a hardwood linoleum. However, what we found under the carpet was real hardwood floors! These were supposedly painted silver with Kilz after the fire back in 1990. However, they were not sprayed. The restoration company lied, talked us into getting the carpet, and also talked us out of doing the kitches walls with the original ponderosa pine and replacing with paneling. They did all this to cut corners rather than truly redo the house the way it should.
Anyway, I am going to save the flooring that we bought and use it in the kitchen. I am going to continue taking out the carpet, cleaning up this nasty house, and redoing these awesome floors. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Sweet! I was very pleased when I bought my house 10 years ago and ripped out the nasty green 70's carpet to find beautiful original hardwood floors. I didn't even have to refinish them, just cleaned 'em and wiped 'em with some Murphy's Oil and they're good as new! | |

| Not exactly. I already had the other flooring bought. If the refinishing works, then we will use the other flooring in our kitchen. No hardwood there. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| We have a hard wooden oiled floor in the hall, and living room. We haven't put a hard wooden floor in the kitchen too, we used tiles of stone. | |

| Tiles are pretty, but really hard to keep the cracks in between clean.

| Have you been talking to my wife? She says that about tile crakcs about once a week, usually after I get home and she's cleaned them on her hands and knees...
She's awesome. | |

| Yes, that's right. You know what is hard to clean? The v-grooves we have between the planks of the wooden floor. | |

Steer clear of big cities, unless you don't want a car… big cities suck.
