| I haven't listened to the Malcolm album yet. I just bought it at a record store cuz I knew it was a Christian album. Hope it's good (it was a $4.00 gamble) | |

| I like it. It kind of straddles a New Wave/Rock line. Best tracks IMO are Paint Your Windows White (it's pretty funny), Red Alert and She's Gonna Go Through Changes. That last one is a hard rockin' tune. Malcolm Wild was with the duo Malcolm and Alwyn. I've never heard them, but they were lighter by all accounts. |

| Help me decide. If you had to pick between these two, which one would you want:
Tourniquet -Stop the Bleeding: Limited edition vinyl pressing. Only 400 copies pressed on translucent red vinyl
OR
Tourniquet -Psycho Surgery: Limited edition vinyl pressing. Only 400 copies pressed on translucent blue vinyl

| That's no help bro ! I'm leaning towards "STB" since that was my first Tourniquet album. After shipping and handling they're like 20 bucks each, so there's no way I'm getting both. My son-in-law is always getting special colored vinyls of bands like AFI and Flogging Molly... they look cool and I always wished I could get some of my fav Christian bands on LP like that. I found the Tourniquets on ebay a few days ago and decided I'm gonna get 1 | |

| Yep, I kinda fell into the nostalgia of it. Someone gave me a ton of records, and I started playing some one day - that's all it took. The sound of the bass, the detail in the sounds of all the instruments, and the good old popping and cracking (and sometimes skipping) of the real old ones.... just made me miss that era of my life. During the time when records were the main source of music, I didn't know Jesus. Now I want to collect as many Christian albums as possible for decent prices. I've got several non Christian records that I'm not terribly interested in, I just want Christian rock and CCM LPs from the 70s and 80s (and the occasional pressing of an album that was never on vinyl before - but those are expensive) | |

| Oh I'll be playing that bad boy. I'm not one of those collectors that keeps things sealed and mint.
I've recently got 2 LPs that have been sealed since the 80s, and I cut into them suckers with a razor and slapped 'em on my turntable.

Back when I bought vinyl, I would only play it once to record it onto a cassette so it stayed in good shape ha! I used to do the same thing. Today, I already have all the albums on cd/mp3, I just want the old vinyl now to play over and over.

| I'm bummed cuz on Jan. 1st I won a Petra LP (More power to ya), they shipped it and said the delivery would be between the 4th and the 18th.... we're like, on the 26th now and no delivery. I wrote the dealer a letter and he said he'd look into it. Starting to think the whole "mailing" of LPs as being a bad thing. | |

| I can imagine they might be rather expensive to ship if you are really going to protect them well. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Nice! That David and the Giants album is really good. They were not metal, but a solid band. I saw Servant on that tour as well, and even roadied for them on a local crew. I have a fond memory of Bruce Wright being kind to me and a buddy by chatting us up. He was cool, and a great guitar player.
And while I liked Fireworks, I never heard that album w/ Marty McCall. Let me know if it's good. |

| It's true. A lot the older albums had artwork that was created to be viewed on a large scale (ie a record album). Take the same art and scale it down to a cd and it loses it's detail. | |
