Celestial Messenger was originally released on LP in '87 then rereleased on CD recently, not LP unfortunately. Sylentiger was also recently released on CD and also LP by Retroactive

It is great to see our resident vinyl expert making an appearance!

Vinyl buying for me has slowed down a lot. Some of it is getting pricey but I bought 3 records last week. The new one from Dennis DeYoung and two from Styx. One was a Record Store Day release (an EP on blue vinyl with two new songs exclusive to vinyl only and some live tracks on Side 2) and a full length album "Crash Of The Crown" on clear vinyl. So it's like getting 3 new Styx albums all at the same time.

I've all but stopped buying any music. I feel a futility in collecting so much stuff I'll never even have a chance to listen to

I only buy physical product of Christian releases, but secular stuff I just go with the downloads. I would probably go all downloads if Roxx, Girder, and Retroactive all put their music on digital platforms, too. As it is, you have to get the CD of anything you want to hear.

I'm looking forward to the King's X Record Store Day releases coming in a couple of weeks.
