Actually, my wifey is going to buy a commemorative geocoin for my 1000th find with the name of the cache that brought me to that milestone.

That's very awesome. A precious gift.

I went out today with sabidoo and we hid 5 new caches. We didn't go hunting for any, but we did hide more.

There are 7 new caches in the GPS. I hope to find them all.
That will help to get more finds.

Sometimes hiding caches is fun too. To see when others have found your cache and read their reviews.

Have found 7 caches.
Found an other travelbug from the US and have found my first two geocoins.
One you had to log on an other site than the geocaching site.

I went out after 3 this morning and got an FTF on one even though the coordinates were about 85-90 feet off.

Found one before breakfast in Beaver Dam, KY. Had to re-list my newest hide and now get to HOPE the reviewer will be favorable to "DEATH BY ELECTROCUTION'...

They were unsure how I may have hidden a cache in a 'downtown' location. After writing an explanation and then re-submitting it, they rejected it because I defaced public/private property by drilling a hole in a light pole. Gee, I hope nobody goes and takes pics of all the tens of thousands of 'defacement' caches hidden in this country. If so, they may have to end all of geocaching.

Maybe we can just make our hides by throwing the containers on the ground, or would that be littering?
I hope they all get herpes.

There was a powertrail in Nevada that was shut down because the state considered it unsafe to have cars stopping on the side of the road and considered all those film cans to be littering.

Grabbed another FTF today! That's 20 of those for me now!

Till now I only have found HTF's
do you get a bonus to find FTF's?

You don't get a bonus if you find FTFs. You just get bragging rights. LOL Someone has to be the first, right? I have over 1000 finds, but I have only had 20 FTFs. Having 2 jobs cuts into the ability to chase FTFs when they go live.

I went out yesterday with a new caching friend and was able to find 12. That brings me now to 1030.

We have found our first cache abroad.
There were no indications so it was seraching where the cache was hidden.
It was quite steep where the cache was located.
There was snow and ice, but whe have found it.

Cool! So it was harder for you to find than normal?

This one was a bit harder.
But it's fun geocaching abroad.
We liked it to find more, but we had to hurry because it was supper time.

Spent some time with mom and my aunt and she was excited to find her first geocache.
Tried a second geocache, but the cache was not found.
It's gone I think.

A really stupid question… I went to geocaching.com and made my account… but I can't seem to register geocaches I found. How do I do that?

There is a link on the left side of each cache page that says Log Your Visit. Click on that. However, if you are a free member and the cache is for premium members, then you will not be able to log the visit. To log premium caches, you must purchase the $30 per year membership.
