I won't give up and load lots of new caches in the GPS for this weekend.
It seems this cache was missing too.

Hope you find a lot more caches today to reach your goal -- 1000 .

I found 10 today. Several of these had quite a bit of a hike as the terrain was higher. I hit both a terrain of 4 and one of 4.5 today. My legs feel like rubber now.

That puts me at 917--83 more to go!

I can imagine. A Terrain of 4 and 4.5 is very heavy.
Have you found traditional caches or cool things.

I need to order some travelbugs, because here you have to give a new travelbug when you take a travelbug with you to put it in an other cache.

Now, you have to tell me how it walks on rubber legs today Razz

We figured out how to solve a problem we have had to find a cache.
Next to this cache is an other cache we could'nt find.
More caches are there nearby.
So I hope we can find at least two caches.

I managed to grab 6 more yesterday. I went with sabidoo on one and got to watch him try to kill himself with a pretty good fall. He had a huge rock shift and fall which caused him to fall on his back. He's ok, but it was rather scary.

I don't think I would want over 3 or 4 people out geocaching at the same time.

I have ordered some new high tech rechargable batteries for my DeLorme GPS. They are supposed to last between 12-14 hours on a single charge. The cool thing about them, though, is you can plug them in and just top off the battery without causing a memory effect and destroying the life of the cells. I can't wait to try them out. They could even be here as early as today.

That's awesome to have batteries like this.
So often we have to search in the house to find full batteries when we go geocaching.
How terrible it is when you are in the middle of no where with a GPS with empty batteries and have go full batteries with you.

I had to get out and play yesterday afternoon with those new batteries. I managed to find 6 more caches yesterday pushing me still closer to my 1000 goal. My current number is 934.

Wow you go fast.

I will go out on Sunday after church too.
Hope we can find a lot more.
My goal is to loose the neo cacher status before we are searching for one year.
I'm searching for a lot of caches close to each other, that will help.

Getting a lot of caches close together will really drive those numbers up.

I got 3 more today with sabidoo. 937 now!

In a city nearby are 19 traditional caches close to each other.
That really helps to come a bit closer to my goal.

I have to order some travelbugs to take with me when we go to Austria.
It seems there are lots of caches hidden there.
Good plan to take a travelbug with me and hide there.
Do you always have to give a travelbug a goal?
Like bring me to Canada?

You don't have to set a goal with a travelbug. But, if you do, other cachers can help you to achieve your goal. Don't be dismayed, however, if your travelbug goes missing. Not everyone logs them like they are supposed to. Some newbies keep them not knowing what to do with them. Some get muggled. Even some former cachers have been known to steal them. It's crazy--but it happens.

Found the bonus cache of a serie from 6 caches.
Brought a travelbug with me and log it and put it next week in an other cache.
This travelbug has not a goal.
That's really crazy to former cachers steal travelbugs.
We have found 4 caches today.
Two others were really hard to find.

We have met other geocachers.
It's nice to meet other cachers.

I met up with another cacher tonight while doing a series of 16 caches not too far from my home. I managed to find all 16.

Sometimes it's cool to meet other cachers.
Yesterday other people asked us if we have found a good hidden cache.
They have found this cache first, so all we had to do was sign the log.

The TB I have found came from Detroit Michigan.
That's cool to find TB like this.

I'm thinking to go to an event meeting.
To meet other cachers.

I went out this morning for two new caches to get first to find. I did! I also picked up a third cache (all 3 were super easy) while I was in the area. That brings me to 17 FTFs now, and a total number of 962 finds.

That's really awesome to find so many caches at one day.
You deserve a geocaching medal now to reach your goal of more than 1000 finds.
Great job in a bit more than one year.
