I went to a Middle Tennessee Geocacher's Club meeting & ice cream social yesterday and found 5 more caches around the Woodbury, TN area. Counting the event cache, that was 6 more finds for me yesterday. All in all, it was a good caching week with 26 finds total.

We tried to find number 10 of the serie bird caches. Searched last week for a long time, but no geocache. Tried today to find number 10, but where we look there's no geocache. Is it weird to be frustraded after seaching two times for one geocache and not have found it?

No, it's not weird at all. One of the caches I found on Wednesday had me frustrated for months. I had posted 2 DNFs and then had 2 DNFs that I didn't post. I wasn't sure I wanted to try it a 5th time, but I did. This time it paid off.
Keep at it. Either you will find it, or enough DNFs will get posted to make a reviewer make the cache owner check it out and verify that it's still there. If it's missing, they would then have to either replace it or archive it.

Some other caches were having as much problems as we had. Others have found it without any problem. We have send the owner of this cache an e-mail. Hope that helps us to find number 10.

I found my first French traditional cache, without a GPS no less (having studied the pictures). The info page lists four TBs, but there were none - I would have liked to bring one home.

I found another - actually, my dad found it - without a GPSr. That brings me to 43 since I started in March.

Funny, I had a different feline colloquialism to describe you but since this is a family bar, I will refrain.....FOR NOW!!!

Stopped for the night at a truck stop in Wapakoneta, OH and finally had a chance for a little caching. In addition to making me take a walk, it also garnered me 2 caches and 2 travelbugs.

Cool to find two travelbugs. Haven't found travelbugs for a long time.

I haven't seen any trackables in a while in caches.

I haven't had time all week to go. MAYBE I'll get out for a little this week. Who knows?

Me neither. I was anxious to bring some home from France to Canada, but I couldn't find any in the two or three caches I found here. Too bad.

There was a slew of caches placed within 3 km of my home… WHILE I WAS AWAY. So I missed FTF.

If he'd let me have it, I could fill the trunk with goodies and hide it so he'd need a handheld GPS and some clues in order to find it.
Yes, I have found a geocache that actually IS a car.

As in, the container IS a car? Or the cache is IN the car?
There's a cache not extremely far from here that is hidden in an old car. It's in the middle of the woods, so the woods probably used to be farm land and the farmer forgot his car

Yep. They also grow geocoins and travelbugs here.

Why would someone want to farm in Canada? You only get about 5 months of warm weather which would suck for a growing season! Of course, I am still wondering why people want to LIVE in Canada.
The cache I am talking about with the car is both the car and in the car. You have to pop the hood and there is a bucket inside the engine area. It is an older model car, so the bucket fit right in there. There was no lid on the bucket, so the car is the container.

The growing season is long enough for wheat, canola and other stuff like that. We have a vegetable garden, which produces amazing food.
And some people LIKE cold.

The idiot cacher has his steering wheel on the WRONG side of the car and drives on the WRONG side of the road...bloody Brittish wankers. Cool song/video though.
