I was gonna go geocaching but one look at the sky contradicted my plans.

Found 3 today bringing my total to 1263. Two were easy micros and the third was a virtual cache inside the Nashville Zoo.

sabidoo and I went out today to try for an FTF (which we got) up in Smith County. I also grabbed two others that he found Friday night when they went live. That brings me to 1266 and 35 FTFs!

School starts tomorrow. My dream of finding 100 before the end of summer break… well…

I would have gone today, but one look at the sky negated my plans.

We've already been back in school a full month. 5 more weeks and we'll take a two week fall break. Guess what I am going to be doing? Geocaching!

That's cool, geocaching for two weeks.
I'm sure you will have about 1400 caches and some more FTFs.

Geocaching.com just passed 1.5 million active geocaches!

I'm probably gonna attend my first event cache in a couple of weeks. "Coffee" (or substitutes) at Tim Horton's, then we head off to the deep woods to find three caches.

My plan is to find some more caches - the plan of the weather is bringing thunderstorms.

Events are awesome ways to meet people and make some caching friends. These guys make great caching partners. Also, if you have troubles finding a cache, you can check to see if your friends have found it, and they can give you extra hints. I have a small network of people I can call.


I am really going to have to get busy caching. I'd like to hit 220 more this year so that I can hit 1500. I might have to hit some power trails.

I don't have any TBs to trade, so I better get busy if I want to bring a TB to the event!

You don't have to take a TB to an event. it's just a good place to get one moving if you've had it for a while.

Finally we have found number 10 of the serie we are doing now.
all 25 caches are found.
Now we have to find the bonus cache.

Found one, but went home after the mosquitoes attacked me.
Tried a multicache not far from our house, but we did sosmething wrong and didn´t found the cache.

Toronto, ON is getting a big event cache and the maze exhibit. I live 5 or 6 hours from Toronto.

That's the same exhibit that was in Nashville this summer. Attending the maze exhibit will count as a find.



I did get to go out for a little while today and found 3 caches. I also found 2 travel bugs.

Getting ready to hit a power trail today with 52 caches in it. I have loaded quite a few others to add into the trail for (hopefully) a total find day of 65. I am really setting my sites on breaking 1500 by my 2 year anniversary of caching. This power trail is in Columbia, TN, and driving is the best way to do it as it spans several miles.

If I find all of these today, then that would take me to 1353. I could easily get 147 by Jan. 8, 2012.

Tundra people (Canadians) have lessons for catching certain fish breeds?

I checked the zip code for my area (esp since we have the Joshua Tree National Park about 10 miles from us) and found tons of these hidden cache things.... but I don't have a GPS yet, so I guess maybe one of these days I can get into this thing and be cool like you guys.

Yep. Not only that, but we have lessons for sniffing out trolls. I can smell one real bad!
