I grabbed 5 caches today around Liberty and Smithville, TN today between church services. Of those 5, 4 were FTFs!!! That gives me 48 FTFs!

There is a national event here in the USA annually called GeoWoodstock. sabidoo and I are now officially registered to go and are looking forward to meeting hundred, and possibly thousands, of geocachers.

Be sure to tell me how it is to go to such a big event as GeoWoodstock.
Thousands of gecachers I think I'm overwhelemd by so many people.

I'd be lucky to meet 50 geocachers in Pembroke. Ottawa is a two-hour drive, though, and pretty darn big.

I did the interview with the reporter from The Tennessean this afternoon. He said the article should be up tomorrow night on their website and in the paper on Wednesday.

Tomorrow is Leap Day. Not only do I have to miss a part of my youth group to attend the local geocaching meet, but I have to remind myself to return a book to the library. Razz

We are having a "flash mob" event that only lasts officially for 30 minutes. That way, I can still be at church with my youth group. I get the best of both worlds, DBF.

Flash mobs are, well, mobs that assemble and disappear in a flash, usually because of a special event.

I attended the event a couple of minutes late, and got to youth group late. It was nice to see some familiar faces from the area.

DBF explained the Flash Mob pretty well. You gather "in a flash". You don't gather for long, but you gather together because of a common interest. In this case, it's geocaching.

I did get the new Garmin yesterday, and I received the new Etrex that replaces my defective one today.
