You are only looking for one at a time? I have had one day where I found 30!

The day I broke 500, I found 20.

I like planning a day where you can go out and just hunt geocaches.

That's what we did first.
Now we load a lot of caches close to each other so when we have found one we can go for more.

I like the same, but Aart loves to make trips with his "bike friends".
So we only can go out for hunting on Sundays.

20, that are many caches.
So you have found 520 caches now?

Second try to find the puzzle cache.
We found some new WP points and came a bit closer.
But haven't found this cache.
It was raining and we walked in the meadows full of water.
Glad I can swim.
You know, it's so very frustrating to do a puzzle cache and get the wrong information.
I think it's better to search for some more tradiotional caches first.

I got a multi-cache yesterday. Of course, I knew the person who hid it and got the final coordinates since I had already had to hike so much yesterday and nearly died.

Sounds it was a heavy cache yesterday.
We know now where to find the end cache and have to go back to a big beach tree to get the coordinates for the end cache.
Then it's time to find new caches.

Those multistage caches can be tough, but fun. They are just a lot of work. They are more fun if there are other caches in the area and you can grab some others in between stages.

They are also much harder if you don't know the cache owner and can get final coords from them... Wink

Maybe so, but it did not stop me from finding 10 caches today and finding a geocoin!

A geocoin? Is that a special reward for very persistent cachers like you?

Sunday we'll find the puzzle cache and I hope some more.
Sometimes, when you're looking for caches you'll pass beautiful areas.

Geocoins are just trackable items that you put in a cache, and then other cachers find it and move it to a new cache. You can track where your coin goes. I have one that has gone from Tennessee to England now.

I found 3 more caches yesterday, and I found another travelbug. Travelbugs are also trackable items that you find in a cache and move to a new cache.

With either the geocoins or travelbugs, make sure you read about how to log that you found them and also how to log where to take them. But, they are never to be kept as yours. They belong to the person who launched them, and they want them moved from cache to cache.

Yeppers the peppers we have found the multicache and made a pic of it.
The cache was hidden in a pit and through the fallen leaves extra hidden.
I was so happy to find this 2 and a half star cache.
We tried to find an other cache, but couldn't find it.

Have you had the same that the fallen leaves of the trees make it a bit harder to find caches?

Fallen leaves do make finding some caches harder. But, by February, a lot of the leaves have rotted or blown away and that's the easiest time to find caches. Trees have no leaves, so anything hidden there is easier to find then.

During the spring and summer when everything is greened out is the most difficult time to find stuff in my opinion.

Sometime you find more than only a cache.
We were searching for another cache.
I Saw a large tree stump and lifted the log on.
Hidden behind the stump, I saw a frog in the forest.
Ewwwww a frog in the middle of the forest.

No, but I jumped a bit higher when I saw that silly green monster.
I have told him how ugly he was.

That's very interesting.
I hope that we can find them here too.

You can find them all over the place. Geocoins are also trackables that you move to another cache when you find one. I have one that is in England right now.

And did you found the geocoins in a traditional cache?
Or are it special caches?
I would like to find geocoins or travelbugs too.

I found them in traditional caches. The cache has to be large enough to hold a travelbug or geocoin.

We have found 3 traditional caches on Sunday.
I think I'm done with the 1 star caches and like to find the more difficult caches.

This weekend we are searching for our first chaches abroad.
In the park nearby the hotel where we stay this weekend are two caches hidden.
Fun to find them.

I like finding both the easy and more challenging caches. It's all fun regardless.

sabidoo and I are gearing up for a geocaching race today. We have some friends who are cachers, too, and we are going to race to see who can find the most caches in a set amount of time. The loser buys the winners supper. It should be a fun day! And, the free meal will be awesome, too!
