| I was finally able to get back out and grab a couple of quick finds yesterday after our church's egg hunt. I was going after three, but a downed tree across the road, having to cross a flooded creek, and my GPS not give me any other way to get into this area kept me from the third. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I hid 13 caches along a 1.5 mile long walk/bike trail today. Met up with Alldat afterward and we found 2 new ones that are close by. | |

| That means 2 new FTF's to your list.
Hidden 13 caches, that's a lot of. Are those 13 caches belong to a serie, or are it separate caches? We planned to go geocaching, but mom was with us and needed more of our attention than we expected.

| They are all separate caches, in a series. There is a new walking trail here and it was BEGGING to have a series of caches. I will send you links later. | |

| I'm going to get to go after a power trail of caches just outside Tuscaloosa, Alabama this weekend. If I succeed in getting them all, I will have my best day of caching. There are just 85 caches here. This trail is different than the power trails I've done here. The ones here are mostly film cans hidden in road signs or guard rails. On the trail in Alabama, they are hidden in the woods several yards from the road. It should be a fun time.

You should contact Hardkore. He/she/it lives in L.A. (Lower Alabama). I will let you take a Cam Newton poster to adorn the walls of the Hardkore residence.

| That looks exciting to go on a geacaching trip in Alabama. Trails ... power trails .... are many caches hidden very close to each other? Have fun there in Tuscaloosa and I hope you can find all caches there. You are on the way to a new goal ... 2000 caches.

| With this trail, there are 85 caches in close proximity to one another. This one is different as you actually have to go into the woods to find these. It should be fun.
Actually, I don't have a number goal right now. After I broke 1000, the number goal just isn't an issue right now. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

It took me 5 hours driving just to get to Tuscaloosa last weekend. BTW,that poster never would have made it. It would have ended up in the campfires.

| We were down here with some friends who are also geocachers. We didn't get started on the trail until noon. So, that cut down on the amount of time to spend caching. Also, the friends did not bring any food with them, so we ended up having to quit early to go eat. So, we only got to cache the power trail for 4 hours. But, we got 45 of the 85 caches in 4 hours. That's an average of 11.25 caches per hour. While on a regular power trail, that would not be so good as you are just pulling over and getting a small container from a very obvious hiding spot on a guard rail or street sign. This trail has all the containers cammoed very well in the woods. Some are rather obvious finds, and some were a lot more tricky--especially if you don't know how to identify trees.
I would go back today and do the other 40, but my back and legs are still sore from all the walking yesterday. Plus, my wifey wants to do some shopping either in Boaz or Birmingham today. So, we'll do a day of caching and a day of shopping. Hopefully, I can get down here soon to finish this up before the woods get even more grown up and make these harder to find.

| 45 of the 85 is not bad in 4 hours. It looks like it's fun to go out and search power trails. Maybe we here have power trails too. Are those caches all traditional caches?

| Typically, power trails are mostly micros. However, with this trail, some are small traditional caches and some micros. The scenery was awesome!

| Since my church is not having night time services, I am thinking of doing a bit more caching this afternoon if the weather cooperates.

| I drove more than 7 kilometers today. I drove to Carthage, TN to grab 13 new caches that my brother had placed last week.
With all the ones from my trip this weekend and the 13 today, I am now at 1101 finds.
