| I did get the newsletter, but mine will look different from yours. Mine will have listings of events and caches close to me. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| The Groundspeak newsletter is set to sent you info for your area. There are some international events listed on the left hand side, but the local events and new local caches are listed in the body of the email and is different for each member.

| Yippeee, today the snow was gone, the ground wasn't frozen anymore. Time to find some more caches. We have found 3 traditional caches. The last cache was a cache in a series of 5 or six. The cache we have found contained a code to get a bonus cache. You have to find 4 caches more and get a special code to get a banner for your profile.

| For my first year, I ended up with 820 finds, 13 FTFs (first to find), and 22 hides. Not bad. I only have to find 180 to reach my second year goal of 1000. I will probably have to raise my goal a little.

| I did find 10 more today. I also released a new travelbug of my own, and found a geocoin today. Not a bad day at all. That brings me to 844. That goal of 1000 for my 2nd year is getting ever closer!

| I am wanting to do a more difficult series in Nashville. They are called the Willie Willie Wough series. While not really that hard overall, they are kind of tricky. They are meant to be hard to see until you begin to think abstractly. All of them have a trick to them that makes them blend in with their surroundings. The owner of these caches definitely thinks his stuff through before hiding.
In the Willie Willie Wough series, I have found 6 of the 17. I want to finish this series this year if I can. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Today we have found the bounscaches. Tried to find the bonus cache, but we have to search again. We were close to an other cache and yeppers the peppers there I have found the first travelbug.
Travelbug question. When you have found a trqvelbug, you can take it with you and put this travelbug in an other cache? Of course you have to put an other trade item in the cache, or you only can take a travelbug with you when you put an other travelbug in the cache?

| Make sure with the travelbug that you log where you found it so that the owner can know where it's currently located. You may place it in another cache, but you do not have to trade for trackables as they are not considered "swag". You don't have to find another travelbug to swap with either.
When you log the travelbug, be sure to read what the mission or goal for this bug is. You might not can accomplish the goal, but maybe you can help move it a little closer to the desired locations.
I have one geocoin that has South Africa on it. So, my goal is to see it make it to South Africa. If it does, then I think I will change the goal to get it back to Tennessee and into my hand. I think that would be cool.

Yes, that will be cool. Do you think it's possible to get a geocoin from my country to TN?

| Possibly! It just depends on who finds your coin and moves it. They do go missing sometimes, though. sabidoo has not had good luck with his trackables. One of mine went missing after the 2nd move. The rest of mine are doing pretty well. I have one that has made it to England so far.

| There was a paper added with the travelbugs, yes it were more than one. But the paper was so wet that we couldn't read it. I'm thinking to contact the owner of this cache to ask about the travelbugs.
I know now you can buy travelbugs.

| When you start with geocaching you only have one goal ... find more caches. Geocaching is really very cool. While we were looking bomus cache we found traces of a beaver. we saw a tree where he was gnawing. It's nice to see that a beaver gnaws a really big tree. We didn't find the bomuscache, but what we have seen about the beaver made it very good. I'm always a bit frustrated when we can't find the cache. | |
