Random Ramblings

The meat looks very good.
Covid again, it seems the Covid can't leave it alone.
Here , many people have it.

My neighbor passed away last week.
Tomorrow is the funeral.

I've to go to the service in church.
Go to bring the family my condolences.

But .. it reminds me so to the days that my husband passed away.
It's hard.
I don't go to the cemetery.

Wednesday was a beautiful day.
I went to the zoo with my son daughter-in-law and my two grandsons.

We all had a wonderful day.
It's cool to see all kinds of animals.
We decided not to cook, but go the Mac Donalds.

I love taking the grandkids to the zoo.  They seem to have so much fun!

I am listening to even more mixes of the tracks I recorded with my band Hard Road.  We are getting so close to being able to share these with the world.  It's so exciting to hear something that you spent months working on as a group finally starting to come together.

This weeks I've two days I.m away.
I go to a museam with painting from Impressionst painters.
The other day I go to a orchid garden.

Today, it is back to the grind!  I had to report back to school tomorrow for the new year.  Students return on Friday.

Yow! This morning just before 4am it was 80 with 91% humidity.

That's pretty much raining!

I thought we were bad with 66% humidity!

On Tuesday I had a nice day.
Went with the mother-in-law from my daughter to a  National Park.
There's a museum with so many famous paintings from Vincent van Gogh, Picasso and more painters.
We made a walk in a sculpture.

After 2 1/2 years, my Moto Edge phone is starting to act weird.  Some days it works fine, but others it super heats and runs the batteries down.  So, I bit the bullet and got a new phone.  I got it on Wednesday but didn't set it up until tonight.

What did I get?  A Moto Edge 2024!  Samsungs and iPhones are nice, but I am not paying status symbol prices for a phone.

Tomorrow is the start of 3 rough days.
Wednesdag it's 2 years ago my hubby passed away.

We go with the kids and grandkids to the beach.
It's good to spend this day as family.

I still have my Moto Action that I bought in 2018. I don’t really use it for anything but still have it. When we moved to Michigan I finally broke down and got an iPhone. It’s ok and I like Android better but my entire family uses iPhones so I was kind of forced into it. I was missing some good FaceTime chats and in some group texts I couldn’t watch videos. But my Moto One Action is still barely alive. I leave it plugged in next to the bed. It won’t hold a charge very long. Used to have the best battery life ever but now I’m lucky if it stays on for more than an hour after being off the charger. 

Used to have Straight Talk but eventually changed over to Spectrum and got 4 lines for $25 each which includes taxes.

Last Monday we've had the funeral of my ex-brother in-law.

I am having a total blast at Immortal Fest this weekend!  The performances have been amazing.  Ok, there have been a few blunders here and there, but it makes these musicians more down to earth for me.  I love that I got to see Saint, Fear Not, Bride, the Daniel Band, and Les Carlsen again.  I love that I have had the opportunity to see Neon Cross and Shout on stage after all these years!

Tonight, I will be seeing Trytan, Whitecross, Sacred Warrior, and Apologetix!  Out of the bands tonight, I have seen them all but Trytan.  I am not a big fan of theirs.  Perhaps this show will convert me.

Wish I could have been there.  Love all those bands.  Would have been absolutely amazing to see Bride!
