The folks at Star Wars are planning another sequel trilogy with Rey, Finn, and probably Poe. While those films did well, they are also divisive among fans. Had the original characters not have been in this, I would not have even seen these movies. Even then, I felt like we got cheated again and again of what could have been. The stories were disjointed, and the buildup of characters fell flat in the end. I ended up being very disappointed in the whole trilogy and do not want another story with Rey and the rest. I would rather them recast the original actors and tell more stories during the main time of Luke, Leia, Han, and Vader. Why put out something that fans probably won't like? Oh, that's because it is the new Disney that doesn't care what fans think or how well they stick to source material. They should put out a new trilogy forgetting the previous one and let those films die.

And you wonder why I canceled my Disney - subscription?
I'll stick with the original trilogy. The rest of the 'chise can kick rocks.

I enjoyed them as well. Not nearly as much as the original trilogy, but they weren't too bad and mostly entertaining....however the slow-speed chase through space in the second film was rather lame. But other than that I certainly didn't hate them as much as a lot of fans seemed to.

The newest moves were bad, but there is nothing wrong with The Mandalorian, Kenobi, or The Bad Batch. I am betting that Ahsoka will be every bit as entertaining.

Made the long drive (17 hours) yesterday back to Florida. Spent all day cleaning and moving our daughter out of her apartment. Graduation from FSU is tomorrow then the long drive back to Michigan on Monday.
Saw two former coworkers in Sam’s today and visited with them while in the store.
After being here I have decided it was a good move and I have no desire to ever come to Panama City again. Have a lot of good memories here and want to keep this town in my past.

Vacation? Hardly! Spent most of the time packing her up, attending graduation and then leaving at 1:30 am to drive back north. Didn’t even have time to look at the beach! But we made it safely back home. Our daughter may need some time to adjust. She will miss her friends but she won’t have any problems making new ones. Our youngest daughter had a tough time at first but after a few months adjusted nicely.
Just glad school is behind her. At least out of state school, she starts grad school in the fall here in Michigan.

The first season of Reacher was amazing and feels like it was taken straight from the novel to the screen. It was SO well done!

I find it strange that we have 440 registered members and yet we have so few that actually post anything.

Sad. I don't post a whole lot because I don't have much to say.

For literally years we used to get 15 - 25 people popping in here each day. In the last year or so it has gone down a bit, and we generally get 10 - 15 a day.
Would be great to see a few more folks post in here, but one of the things I like about CHM is the 'family feel', which is something you don't get in bigger forums.

I think forums in general are on the decline. It is my preferred method of communicating with others and I’ll hang on until the very end. Some forums I’ll think about and then go check it out and see there hasn’t been a post in over a year.

I got dragged into our local Michael's art/craft store yesterday by my wife. Someone had mistakenly arranged these letters as "SHOM" so I took it upon myself to fix 'em.

Happy Memorial day weekend for all who live in the U.S.
Memorial Day in the United States is a day to remember our fallen soldiers. Those who gave their lives for our freedom and for the liberation of nations around the world.
Other countires around the world have a simlar celebration for their lost soldiers The UK & Canada have Remberance Day Australia & New Zeland have ANZAC Day The Netherlands has Dodenherdenking (Remberance of the Dead) South Korea also celebrates a Memorial Day (but in June)
