Yeah we had to put a cat down back in Nov. was hard to do. We got him for our daughter when she was in kindergarten and he lived until she made it to grad school! Had a nice long life but it was his time. She wanted to keep his ashes so they put them in a box for her.
Wow, that's a long life for a cat. We had a three legged cat that we got from the pound whose ashes we kept too. We only had him for 3 years, but he was already at least 8 years old and had kidney disease when we got him.

We had to take both puppies back to the veterinarian this morning for their second round of puppy shots. Both the veterinarian technician and doctor thought that there might actually be some Malamute in our boy (he is the bigger one). They are 19lbs and 22lbs, close to the same weight but he is at least two inches taller than her.

I have a confession to make….
I haven’t put away my Christmas stuff yet. It’s not that much (no tree), but just haven’t bothered with it yet.
The nativity scene I leave out year round.

Since I'm home all day anyways, I start tearing Christmas down the day after. I personally like when it's over

That would totally be me. If it was up to me to decorate I would put the decorations up the day before and likely forget about taking them down until early June!

My finger was stuck in the door and the nail now looks dark blue. I think it will take a long time before things get better again

Did anyone actually see much of the eclipse today? It was mostly blocked by clouds here.

Perfect skies here. We had 96.4% coverage in Michigan. It was pretty awesome. Didn’t get completely dark but it was like the sun was going down. We watched from our front yard. Last weekend I went out to look for glasses and everyone was sold out. Luckily my wife was able to find several pairs at work and she brought them home.

We live a little too far west to have much coverage (only like 50-60%)... but it was clear skies and the outdoors got a bit of "diffused" looking sunshine for about an hour or so.

About my finger, it happend so sudden that I didn't know how it happend. It was a door with an automatic door closer, that the door closed very hard. I('ll make a pic of my blue finger nail. But it's not easy to post a pic on CHM.
