So much cheating being reported. AZ actually gave conservative districts sharpies to fill out ballots, the machine doesn't read sharpies.
Welcome to the new banana republic.

Welcome to the new banana republic.

Saw actual video of people complaining about that.  Seriously messed up,  Arizona hasn't gone to a Democrat presidential candidate since 1996.
I all but guaranteed my wife that the longer this goes on the more likely they will "discover" boxes of uncounted ballots that will lean heavily towards Biden.  The exact same thing happened in Washington State's gubernatorial election about 12 years ago.

There is significant cheating without a doubt. (And of course, it's always in favor of the democrats for some reason...) The questions are 1) to what extent (i.e. would it affect the outcome) and 2) can it be proven so justice can be served?

I wholeheartedly believe we as Americans live in the best country in the world. But seeing overt corruption like this is extremely discouraging and if we continue on this trajectory, we'll be another Venezuela... much sooner if Biden is dubbed the winner IMO.

Sorry to hear your political arena has turned into a circus guys. Cheating is a massive abuse of the democratic process. Very sad.

I've been watching things unfold from here. WHAT a drama. As an outsider looking in (with very little experience and knowledge of the actual situation I might add) I do find it alarming how your people see the same events and issues so very differently. There is nothing near a shared perspective. Case in point is how different your answers to the question: "what is socialism?" This from a Gallup Poll report: (https://news.gallup.com/opinion/polling-matters/243362/meaning-socialism-americans-today.aspx)

"Republicans, who are overwhelmingly negative about socialism, tend to skew toward seeing socialism as government control of the economy...while Democrats, a majority of whom are positive about socialism, are more likely to view it as government provision of services."

It's no wonder you aren't united. You're not even speaking the same language. We have had something similar here where the founding document of our country (the Treaty of Waitangi) was written from a European understanding, but was interpreted by the local Maori people in a completely different way -- their concept of "ownership" was more along the lines of "stewardship" so they essentially signed a document that they didn't understand. That lack of a shared language has cost this country in many ways since inception. Seems to me as a nation, you guys have the double whammy of (a) not having a shared understanding as well as (b) disagreeing on politics. Those different political views might be more manageable if everyone had a shared understanding of the terms.
I'll be praying for a peaceful resolution.

Sadly, if Biden does win after any recounts and certification happens, cheating will not be punished.  It will be rewarded with cabinet jobs.

If cheating isn't punished, then our election system is a total failure and there is no need in ever voting again as it will always be rigged.

Cheating in an election should result in the charge of high treason, have your citizenship stripped even if you were born here, spend a long vacation in Guantanamo, and then deported to any country that would take you.  If you don't make the penalty extreme, people will never learn.

I agree cheating should be severely punished.  Rigging an election goes against what our founding fathers set up.  It's un-American therefore it's anti-American and thus the cheater is an enemy of the state.

^For sure.  The thing is, unless Joe is as stupid and reckless as his son (which is a possibility...), all this cheating will never be attributed directly to him.  *IF* anyone is caught, it'll be the fault of some "rogue left-wing extremists who acted independently and without the knowledge of the Democrat Party."  Rolling Eyes

I'm hearing more and more reports of a Federal Government sting that was set up to monitor election fraud.

steadfastclash.com wrote:
"From what I've seen, DHS announced that there was a federal government sting planned and executed for this election. It was established that this was intentional to determine the margin of fraud in the election system. With confusion in the election results as it is, the amount of fraud identifiers found in this sting is staggering.

Supposedly, there is a watermark on all of the legitimate ballots to act as a security measure.

Thus far, 48% of the ballots that they reviewed did not have that watermark on them. The biggest offenders found so far have been Arizona and Michigan."

I'm learning more and more to bypass the news agencies and go straight to the government sources. Take a look at the election 2020 link on the dhs website. Should clear that one up.

Maybe I will ruffle some feathers but I will be glad to see the tangerine terror gone! He's done nothing but divide and lie.

He really lost me when he said insulin costs the same price as water. I checked and it does cost the same as water- if I buy 3.5 pallets of water bottles.

More people voted by mail. We voted by mail, it simply takes longer to count those votes. I could track my ballot online (like tracking a package) and once counted I was notified it was counted.

anyway, God bless us all. I consider myself a moderate and I support the ACA, workers' rights and Union rights, those decisions are the ones that affect my family.

Yes, it's coming but lucky for us it will be hitting in another part of the state. Good for us, bad for them. Also this late in the season the water is cooking off and it should not be a monster storm as those feed off warmer waters. I believe we will get some rain out of it but that's it. So far the path has it making landfall north of Tampa which is 4-6 hours away from where we are.

Seems like there's been quite a few more storms to make landfall this year. It's been a while since we've seen this many storms.

It's overcast and quite windy today but not a change of rain really until the weekend so it looks like this storm will miss us entirely. Been hotter than usual, we had some nice cool nights in mid 40's and days in mid 60's. It got hot again last week (and humid) with highs in the 80's. We rarely get fall weather here. It goes from summer to winter, spring and summer. Winters here are mild but cold temps can be cold because the air is still humid. So if it is 30 outside it feels even colder because the humidity is cold moisture in the air making it feel frigid. When we go back to Tennessee in the winter months I can tell a difference in the cold. it just feels different.

Well I spoke too soon. It's headed right for us on Sunday but will be a depression. That just means quite a bit of rain with random wind gusts.

It will be a busy Saturday.
I start to prepare the linden tree in my front yard to remove.
There comes a new tree instead of the linden tree.

Then I go to help my son in his yard.
My son and daughter-in-law and Jesse come to our house to eat cheese fondue.
I've the idea this will be an awesome Saturday.

I always read before bed to help me clear my mind. The rule is nothing thought provoking because the whole point is to shut down. I usually read until I'm about ready to drop off, close the book and I'm asleep in minutes. Last night it TOTALLY backfired. All because of this typo...

"Because of the now almost horizontally driving snow and the fart that it was blowing directly from the front to the back of the train, the man was sitting in an almost completely snow-sheltered oasis."

I laughed so hard any thought of sleeping vanished

ROTFL
