We found an error in our corporate taxes (which had already been filed), so I've been waiting around for my amended K1 form so that I could complete filing myself. Hope your "correction" won't be too painful.
Thanks, bro. The most helpful lady walked me through this process. Sent the amended version to DC and the snail-mail version to Jeff City, MO. Glad the bro and I (my housemate) reverted to the old system of rental payment (check) and won't have to deal with this aggravation again.

Great news! Glad to hear you got it straightened out. Do you actually share an apartment/house with your biological brother? My sons are so different I don't think they could do that for long-term.

We've had our fair share of disagreements over the years, but we've soldiered on.

Almost done with Washington State for a while. Mrs Staybrite and I will be packing up our car and driving to Arizona on April 6th (this coming Tuesday). We will race through most of Oregon on the first day and should stay the night in the Southern Oregon town of Medford. After that we will visit with some family in Central California (one short day) and then hit up one of my mother-in-laws resort condo places in Indio (southern California) before we head to central Arizona. Should be about 5 or 6 days total. I have to say I haven't made a road trip this long in about 30 years.

You can come visit anytime. Of course the weather won't be too much different in the summer, so you'll want to come in the Fall or Winter

So our basement.flooded a week ago due to heavy rains. It fried our water heater is it was under water.
I bought a new one this past Saturday from Home Depot. We decided to let them do the install as I am very busy and suck at plumbing. Until today, no one has called me about the install despite being guaranteed next-day service in the store.
Needless to say, I got mad and gave our local Home Depot a scathing review online. Then, I decided to just do it myself. I sliced my hand doing it, but I have hot water back in the house.

Also, my all-mesh office chair arrived. Plan on assembling it later, right after I make active my new Samsung s21 + 5G.

My Dollar General is now a DG Market. Out of the 17 thousand plus Dollar General's, only 1 percent (about 170) are market stores. Mine now has produce and fresh meats. And yours truly is officially the perishables and frozen manager.

I have a new toy to use with the guys I am jammin' with each week. Two of us sing, but the other guy really doesn't know how to do harmonies. So, I bought a vocal harmonizer for the songs I sing. It's pretty cool!
You can set it for several cool effects, but I really only use the 3rd above and 5th below settings. You turn it on and off with a footswitch which is taking some getting used to. You can set the key in the machine to match the song, or you can trust the onboard microphone. So far, it is doing a good job for me!

It's the last item on the docket, sis. Yesterday was a veritable gauntlet of craziness. A day filled with washing laundry and dishes, making my monthly doctor visit, canceling my old phone carrier service, starting the new phone's new service, sending off the old phone as part of the trade-in, and literally running myself ragged. I promise I will attempt to pace myself better today.

It was a fun trip, but slightly more expensive than we estimated (that seems to happen with pretty much everything). We are in Arizona in a rental house and "warmth" is taking a bit getting used to (we are drinking even more water, and getting tired earlier). I did get my home office up, without my office internet phone (which is kind of a bummer), but at least now I can get to work and help my clients. Seems odd to be happy about going back to work.

I heard that in the video on bookface. I was looking around to see who was singing with you....couldn't figure it out for the life of me because the guitarists weren't singing at all. Very cool!
