I think some of those long lists of side effects are more like a "cover your a$$" kinds of lists for the munfacturer. Many of those symptoms aren't even useful because they are either ridiculously rare, or may not even be directly related to the medications in the first place.

With any medication, you have to remember one thing, folks:
What is the difference between medicine and poison?
The dosage.
Anything we use as medicine can have adverse effects. With the vaccine, there have been too many BILLIONS of human guinea pigs that have taken it and are fine. I am one of them. My wife finally gave in and got her first shot yesterday. Her mom, who is 81, has her appointment set up. With this issue, you aren't allowed to have middle ground thoughts and that is where the truth lies. The far left are out to kill us all with it. The far right are uneducated oafs trying to kill everyone. The truth is that the vaccine is helping people not get harsher cases overall. It's time we all get over our political slant and just take the darn shot.
I didn't want it, either, but I am glad that I did. I have been exposed now twice to it at school and wasn't even required to get tested or isolate/quarantine. As far as I know, I have given it to no one in my area.

How do you know the vaccine is what's keeping you from getting COVID when you've already had it before you got the shot?
A new virus shows up and less than a year later there's a vaccine? I'm calling bull.
Not 1 of the "billions" who have been vaccinated got vaccinated 5 or 10 years ago and have proven anything about long-term effects.
The clinical trial for the vaccine doesn't end until 2023. You don't put the entire population in the trial.
There has never been a successful coronavirus vaccine created and this one doesn't make one immune. If you are given a vaccine and can still catch the disease, the vaccine doesn't work.
The makers of the vaccine are immune to any liability for adverse reactions caused by the vaccine, so, no, I don't trust it. Back up your product, you pansies!
The Federal Government is ramming this down everybody's throat. I don't trust them so in turn, I don't trust the vaccine.
I have an immune system that is 97% effective against COVID. The vaccine is supposedly 94%. It's pretty cold outside so put on your good jacket and you probably should put on the one that doesn't zip, too.
The proverbial carrot keeps getting moved. Take the jab! Take 2! Now you need to have boosters every 15 minutes. Make sure you still mask up and wear 2 pair of undies. It's a requirement for the vaccine to work.

There isn't a vaccine on the market for any disease that gives you a 100% guarantee that you won't get whatever you were inoculated for. All vaccines are designed to reduce the odds of infection and more serious illness. To expect that from this vaccine is ridiculous.
Also, ALL vaccines are exempt under U.S. law from any liability since the early 90s. It is silly to throw that argument out when you can't sue pharmaceutical companies over adverse reactions to any vaccine approved by the FDA.

The bribery, the emotional blackmail, the incessant governmental gaslighting...plus the boosters every five months or so informs me that this embellished plandemic will keep Little Lord Fauxchi and the Communist Dictatorial Committee in the green (at our collective expense) for years to come.

I'm just glad we got ours. Will get another if needed! Been getting a flu shot every year for 30 years and haven't had the flu since.

Since other countries with higher vaccine rates are seeing huge spikes in hospitalizations of the vaccinated I'm very skeptical. And why the downplay of therapeutics which are shown to work? Rogan was good in two days after taking Ivermectin but they are talking of banning it. Then Biden goes and says he is going to ration antibody treatments which means not giving as much to red states and it makes me think they don't give a rats patookas about your health.

Seeing that I was exposed and didn't contract it this time, so am I. With the new fiercer variants, I don't want a hard case.

I saw that in the news the other day and it really pissed me off. Instead of sending the antibody treatments where it's needed they want to sit on big portions of it because it "might" be needed elsewhere. Effectively Biden is saying that if your state didn't vote for him then he doesn't care if you die. Pretty much the same way he didn't care if Americans in Afghanistan died either.

That's why you have to look in the middle these days. The virus is real. We all know that. But, the common people no longer trust the far left of the far right as this thing has been so politicized by both sides that we don't even trust when either gives good info.
As far as the antibody treatments, that might be what he is saying. He could also be directing those treatments towards larger populations where numbers are higher and more severe. Don't read too much into that, and keep an eye open at the same time.
The governor here in TN is already working to ensure that we have antibody treatments here. One of the corporations that have developed this has recently moved their operations to TN. They want to build a bank of donors here and keep those antibodies here regardless of what the federal imbeciles want to do. I think that is the right choice, and every state should be working to do the same thing for their people. Then, they can share with states like Alaska or Montana that have smaller populations and obviously less donors to make the antibodies from.

I've got covid, and so have my two kids. We're currently isolating for 10 days. No going outside at all (unless it's the garden!)

Praying Mrs Fundy doesn't get it, and that you will be feeling right as rain in no time. Kind of hard for you to work remotely isn't it?

Don't get used to those afternoon naps. It will kill you when you have to go back to work!

Didn't you have a management person who also lost their wife? How many employees does your company have?
Our little company only has 6 employees (used to have 7, but one decided to retire). Three of our employees have had covid (4 if you count our retired bookkeeper). None of them have died, but our drafter lost her husband to covid (he was only in his early 60's and in decent health).

Yes. My boss lost his wife. She actually used to work here but left several years ago. We have around 400 employees on site. We have also lost quite a few in church. One of my coworkers told me the other day he lost 4 family members in 2 weeks.

Our state legislature has been working feverishly this week to pass many bills during a special called session to limit the federal mandates. I believe that our governor will sign these into law. Many folks turned on Bill Lee because of the shutdowns here in TN. I think he will sign these and pass them to win back the favor of voters to bolster his re-election campaign for next year. I, for one, would be more likely to vote for him again if he does. If he doesn't, I will be voting for an independent for governor of TN.

Gov. Bill Lee has signed an omnibus bill in Tennessee barring publicly held businesses from being able to require that you get the shots. They can ask but you don't have to show anything. They can't fire you for not having the jab. Federal employees, of course, will still be under federal jurisdiction, but the workers in Tennessee, for the most part, are going to be free.
I do expect this to get challenged in court. Bring it on!
