Won't happen. They're saying you'll still need the face diaper and to keep social distancing.

^I've heard the same too. Chris, I'd delay as long as possible... Already there are many instances being reported of severe adverse reactions to the vaccines.

They will have have a hard time making people who have been vaccinated wear those things. The more that get the shots the more people will rebel. If I am immune, then why do I need a mask? If all the staff at school were vaccinated, then why would we even need a mask?

Delaying probably won't be an option. I am betting that schools will mandate their staff be given the vaccines. There have been several constitutional lawyers in TN that have looked over and over again and say that our state cannot make the people get the shot, but your employer could under our labor laws. I would rather get this and just be done.

Nobody should be able to mandate that another human being be injected with anything. It goes against life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Exactly. What happened to "My body, my choice"? Oh wait, that only applies to murdering babies (that didn't get a choice). (Okay, I'll get off my soap box now).

Perhaps, but we have had them mandated all of our lives. You had to have certain shots to attend school. You had to have more to go to college. If you are in the military or travel abroad, you will have to have more. We all have had mandated inoculations all of our lives.

But the ones that we got were created by people who cared about people and were looking for a cure for truly deadly diseases. By the time we were given them they had been being given for several decades. Now they're just looking to make money. Both Pfizer and Moderna look to make $32 BILLION off of this vaccine. So far about 3% of those early takers have had adverse reactions needing medical care. That's 3,000 out of 100,000. I'm expecting that percentage to rise.

We have been through 2 rounds with it. First time in March when it was not supposed to be here. Flu like symptoms sore throat upper respiratory stomach upset then suddenly super short of breath and that dry cough. Nothing showed up on any test but took about 3 months to get over it. Short of breath for a while but the worst was the foggy head dizziness and the rashes. Last round my wife brought home as an RN from her unit. They had an outbreak for her the 1 st round was pretty mild but this time she had high exposure and it hit her hard. our doc hit her with the Hydroxy cocktail and quickly she got better but as soon as she was off antibiotics got hit with a secondary infection that almost killed her. That is one of the real dangers of this stuff it exploits every weakness and that is what gets most folk. For me I have Ankaloosing Spondalitus and about 4 months ago my Doc put me on Hydroxy at 400 MG a day the COVID this time never touched me and ever after time in the same house same bed with the wife with full blown COVID I never tested positive. The media lies to you that the Hydroxy doesn't work! It however killed 4 out of her unit in patents took 3 nurses out for about 3 weeks and put one Doc in the hospital with an O2 sat level in the 70's. So far have lost at least 9 friends to it we have had two rounds with it and I cant count how many friends and family have gone rounds with the stuff some having a REALLY hard fight with the it it's no joke. The worst part is how it doesn't just go away the Blood clots, neurological issues with memory loss headaches ect, then the rashes eye problems including COVID conjunctivitis and other things. This thing is one wicked demonic %^%$!

We spent a few days without internet or cell phone service after the bombing in Nashville. The area is still shell shocked over this. The slightest boom now has people hitting the local FB pages wondering what has blown up now.
Nashville has 46 businesses that are damaged. A few will need just windows replaced and to be inspected to ensure structural integrity. Some have been permanently damaged and will have to be torn down and rebuilt for these businesses to return. Nashville will look different for a couple of years. But, we are Tennesseans and will bounce back. Already, the national news is barely talking about it. Except for the BLM stuff, Tennesseans aren't known for rioting and looting during a disaster. Back in 2010 when we had the big Nashville floods, we pulled together and rebuilt. With the tornadoes back in March, we did the same thing despite COVID. So, we will do the same and this troubled man who blew up a chunk of downtown and killed himself doing so will soon become nameless to us as we clean up and rebuild.
I feel the most sorry for the people who were renting apartments above some of these businesses. Their homes and all their furnishings are gone.

UK has gone into lockdown once more, as the spike has gone through the roof. And now I've just gone back on furlough, mainly to look after the kids. Probably won't be back in work for a few months - home schooling here we come!!

Unclean! Unclean! Guess I better wear my mask while visiting the forum now.
I may have already had it as well. Had a low grade fever (up to 99.6 like you) for 12-16 hours back in mid Nov though no other symptoms that I can recall. Nobody else in the house had any issues that I recall either so maybe just a 24-hour bug of some kind.

Oh no. I thought for sure since you didn't get it back when Mrs. Alldat had it that you might be immune. Praying you will have really quick and complete recovery. Also praying you don't lose your sense of smell or taste.

The hard part now is alerting the people I was with over the weekend both on a personal level and from church.

I still have the headache, and I have lost my sense of smell completely. I used some hand sanitizer last night that I could not smell despite it's usual pungent odor. My fever this morning is up to 100.7.

Anyone else have had this? Did you run into people now being afraid to be around you? Besides the guy at church who is over-reacting, now the drummer with the guys I am jamming with is wanting to know if we need to wear masks tonight. Even the health department and CDC says I am good to go! Besides, we stand more than 6 feet apart anyway!
Maybe people who had COVID are the new racial hatred group.

I have heard of this happening. Personally I would be more inclined to hang out with someone who had recovered from it because I think they would be much less likely to be re-infected with it (or another strain of it). But maybe I'm just weird. I do know that even though some people get very sick (like John Evans who is in the hospital right now), most people don't tend to get critically ill when they do get infected. However it seems like a lot of people are treating it the same way they did HIV/AIDS in the early days, it's like they don't even want to be in the same room with anyone ever exposed to it.

Well, I'm scheduled to get my first COVID-19 vaccine shot tomorrow. Since I know I'm not worth being microchipped, I should be fine
