| It's getting busier here too. The kids are back to school.
More stores are open and it's possible to do more now. I'm curious how it will go.

| Washington state is going full 1984. When they open restaurants you have to give your name and phone number so they can track you or you can't eat inside. For your good of course. | |

With that, you make sure the manager is called to the front, give him or her your disgust, and leave. Let corporate know as well. If enough people begin to let them know that they are taking their business elsewhere, they will stop pandering to Dr. Farce-i's will. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

I won't be doing that. I'll just do carry-out or drive thru....or just eat my own cooking which is usually better anyway. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| We rarely eat out anyways, but we're going to eat out at a restaurant as soon as we can. (I believe restaurants will open up their doors for dining-in within the next couple of days here in Idaho.)
There's a new brewery/pizza place we're eager to check out.

| Going into a restaurant doesn't bother me, it's the government overreach that does. Time to stop treating us like children. | |

Exactly. I don't mind eating in a restaurant. But I'm not going to do it if I have to sign up for some "registry" to assure people I'm not some sort of germ factory that might kill them. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Basically, the restaurants and their "contact tracing" = "Show me your papers."
I will not comply. | |

My suspicion was incorrect it seems. We were the only ones in the place we went tonight (and only the second of the day). The very popular pub near us was also very sparse from a friend's report. I'm quite surprised by this. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| This just in: Denny's was underwhelming. Every other table occupied; waitress clad in gloves and a mask, like something out of a 50s Sci Fi Dystopian tale; but the food was okay. It's probably better for me to just have my local version of GrubHub deliver. | |

| We went to a Mexican place last night with a couple from church in Nashville. Mayor Cooper of Nashville has been one of the more power-mad mayors with this. He has said that if you went to a restaurant without a mask that the health department would fine the owners $50 for every infraction. So, we go in and the staff of course is wearing their protective gear. We saw one mask dweller! I guess people just aren't that concerned!
On a bright note, except for the 6 counties with higher case numbers, the governor is taking away restrictions on restaurants and retail next Friday. They won't have to keep those establishments at 50% capacity anymore. They are also reopening things like bars, allowing live music in bars, bowling alleys, movie theaters, etc. These new openings will have restrictions for a few weeks.
I am so ready for this to be done. If I get sick and die, so be it. I will be at home with the Lord. NONE of us are getting out of this world alive if the Lord delays His coming.
I have a 92 year old man at my church. I asked him if he were worried about the virus. He thinks he's already had it. However, his answer to me was this, "Why should I worry about this? I stand just as much chance of dying from being 92 as I do from getting a virus. I've had a good run."
That sums it all up for me.

Happy to report that we just got back from that popular pub, and it was pretty much as full as it could be. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Topshot, I wonder if people from Illinois are sneaking over to Indiana to go to restaurants? I know here in Washington some of the Casinos on Native land opened and were busy. Our Governor, Master Inslee may he live forever, is upset but since they're consider sovereign nations not much he can do. | |

Several stores in Washington (at least the side I live on) are starting to require masks for you to be able to shop there. Governor-Commrade Inslee is pleased. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Certainly a possibility since it's happened before for other reasons. When I go back to work, I'll be required to wear a mask when around others (or maybe any time outside my cube?). They'll still be doing screenings as you enter the building, too, which seems pointless to me. If I had it, by the time I show symptoms, if I even do, I'll have been infecting people for days. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| We've undergone screening since April 10. Ridiculous waste of time and money. Plus now we must submit our employee numbers. I'm getting the urge to goosestep when I enter the building. | |
