| Ironically, this one had more faith element, but also covered only about 8 days worth of time as the setting is where one of the early major slaughters took place. It's not an easy film to watch in some points - not overly gory but just the evil involved. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

That was a pretty good flick. I don't think it was up to par for a theatrical release, but Fox Faith did give it a shot. I think most of the Fox Faith stuff will be distributed more to TV now. With their last release "Saving Sarah Cain", they were planning a release in theaters. But, Lifetime stepped in with a HUGE bid to run it on TV. Fox Faith felt that this was more than the movie would gross in theaters, so they sold the performance rights. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

I'm rather peeved by that since it won't reach a broader audience. The Final Inquiry just went straight to DVD also. Grrr. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

With Fox Faith being owned by a secular company, I guess they just started looking at how they could best financially benefit from these films. Unfortunately, when you start putting a Christ-centered message in a movie or in music, the world at large pretty much ignores you regardless of if the film or CD is as good as anything else out. For the most part, we Christians are the ones watching movies with a Christian worldview. So, I would say that movie theaters were not really packed out for their previous movies. Going straight to DVD, or taking the highest bidder for network television, might really be the best profitable choice for Fox.

Definately not one of my favorites. For the last few nights I have been watching segments of a PBS special on the Inquistion. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| What did you not like about the Harry Potter and the OOTF movie? Sure, they cut out a lot of background story, but the main plot moved very fast. It made the movie out to feel more like a war story--which it is. This is the point of major escalation between Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters and the resistence movement known as the Order Of the Phoenix. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| It just seemed like a filler movie, to keep the story going between good movies. Nothing terrribly exciting about it. Maybe I am starting to get tired of them. That seems to happen to me when a series gets dragged out for several books/movies. I almost slept through the last two "Left Behind Books" and I didn't even bother to read the prequel novel they did. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Interested to know if that is any good. We requested if from the library (we only have to wait for 440 other people to watch it first). This weekend we watched "Ella Enchanted" cute, and rather humorous. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Redbox it, dude. It will only cost you a buck! You can even reserve and rent it online and pick it up at the machine. It was pretty good for a definite chick flick. It starts off slow but ends up being a typical Disney fairy tale.
