AHHHH!
Kinda makes you want to vote a certain way just to see if the world really does end, doesn't it? Or do what I do and don't vote at all... then the Four Horsemen really should come galloping...

They would, but by not voting you split the horsemen into two teams and it balances things out since they don't know which side to kill anymore. See? It really is the fault of all those non-voters!!!! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Pity. The gallows were such fun! I say bring back the iron maiden!!!! Getting everything ready to leave on a mission trip to Memphis with my youth group is just plain stressing me out!!! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

Before I got my TSA pre-check I would get pulled out for "additional screening" every other time I flew. Must be something about being a short, middle-aged, overweight, balding, white guy in glasses that just screams "terrorist" _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Had a tooth extraction on Tuesday. ugh When you're near 50, you just don't bounce back as fast as them whipper snappers. But thankfully they did an amazing job, and were FAST. Didn't feel a thing.... until the next day | |

Needless to say that I hate them. I don't mind the cool weather. It gets hot in my factory. Happily, I'm in the best department for that, because our ceilings are high and our windows are open. The other departments have low ceilings with no windows.

| I love storms! I love seeing the power of God on display as a storm reminds me that the Lord is even more powerful than those.

| A while ago (maybe a week or two) I found out Amazon is building a distro center just out side of town and off the interstate. Then today I read an article that says they will be pretty much only be hiring part timers to work there. Say what?!

| This past week was absolutely amazing. I've been in Memphis with my youth group working with an organization called Street Reach. It is a church that has been working in the worst part of Memphis for 27 years. They run a Christian school for non-Christian kids from the 'hood. They do these Bible Club events all over the area in any empty lots they can find. What's a Bible Club? Think about VBS when you were a child but do it outside with no decorations. We give the kids games, a craft, a Bible story, and music. That's Bible Club!
These kids have horror stories for lives. They are poor. Many have parents who are drug addicts or dealers. Most don't have a dad in their lives. Some of the kids have moms who are prostitutes. There are even some who live in drug/crack houses. Gang activity is high, and drive-by shootings happen so often that the news doesn't even report them anymore.
We did our Bible Clubs in the morning by walking particular routes on the streets. We'd go door to door knocking and asking for kids. The people would let their kids come with us just by mentioning the church we were working through. We'd do the Bible Club and then walk these kids (ages 3-11) back to their homes. In the afternoon, we did games with two different community centers and even did a laundry mat ministry where we provided the money, detergent, and dryer sheets for people. We even helped fold clothes for people. We did all this while just talking to people about Jesus. We even gathered all the people in the laundry mat before we left so we could pray over specific needs.
The best part of all is that my youth group LOVED the total experience and have TOLD me that we are going back next year!
