| I am cutting off our satellite today. We have been with Directv since 2005. We are going to Netflix and Hulu Plus and will save $50 a month. We don't watch a lot of tv, so we feel this is a great choice for us. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| My parents never had a satellite subscription. Rabbit ears on our TV were good until they stopped broadcasting in that format, and by that time high-speed internet had made it to the boonies, so we could watch TV shows online anyway. | |

Karma is just a fancy name for "You reap what you sow." Yeah, it really is a Biblical principle.

How slow do you drive!? Assuming an average speed of 65 mph and no stopping you should be able to drive 500 miles in under eight hours. If you are driving at Interstate speeds (assuming you folks in the GWN can drive that fast ) you can do it in about six hours.

If you are driving at Interstate speeds (assuming you folks in the GWN can drive that fast ) you can do it in about six hours. Oops, I mathed wrong. You're right, it should be about six to eight hours. However, the official speed limit is 62 mph but I drive at around 72 mph or so. The main problem is traffic, which happens from time to time. The other problem is that when you run out of freeway and go down to regular roads, the speed limit is 56 mph and I drive 65, so that adds time; moreover, there are lots of slow drivers and there's nowhere to pass. So that adds time, lots of it.

| Nearly a foot of snow here in our portion of Western Washington. I cannot remember the last time we got this much snow in one day. Definitely not driving anywhere today. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
