| Geostorm  The wife is a big fan of weather disaster flicks (I have no idea why). So I got talked into watching this one with her. It was long on bad writing, sub-par acting, cliche action nonsense, but short on actual "geostorm" footage. Complete waste of time. If you watch the trailer you will see 75% of the "storm action" in about 3 minutes.

| Finished Season 3 of The Expanse.
Also watched that same Netflix scifi flick that Alldat watched "Extinction". I dig the few films that I have seen Michael Pena in so I had high hopes. The first half of the film had me a little annoyed at the stereotypical scifi-monster film shenanigans (jumping out at you, not being dead when it should be, little kid leaving safety of closet to fetch beloved doll and getting caught by the alien/monster, etc.).....but I think the film redeemed itself in the second half. Glad I watched it.

I hate to hear that! I had this saved to my list to watch! It has some good moments, but it just never really seemed to deliver. Also the ending was horrible. Some people seemed to like it (so maybe you will).

| It was actually quite good. It was more of a popcorn flick than something like Jaws. I was really impressed with the CGI they did for the ocean floor sequences. The 3D was also really good,much better than I expected. | |

I was going to predict one more season and it will be canceled....but just found out that they were already cancelled at the end of season 3.
