I completed the both seasons (or series) only to find out that it actually started as a radio show (for the first season).  The comedic duo also did a season of another sketch comedy show called "Come Fly With Me".  All new characters all centered around an airport in Britain (it's on Netflix)....not quite a good as Little Britain IMO, but still better than much of what is current television in the U.S.

Just watched the Cubs sweep the Mets via my MLB.com app. 

Now watching: the Cardinals' Michael Waca hurling a no-hitter thru seven vs. the Pirates.

Friday night both grandsons were over so we watched Coco, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.  Pixar knocks another one out of the park.

Watched Dunkirk last night.  I have to say I was a bit disappointed.  The music was annoying as heck, you can't play suspenseful "edge of your seat" style music for the entirety of a nearly two hour film.  While the story is amazing, I think in general there was something missing, both my wife and I just could not connect with any of the characters in the film, most of them seemed generically the same.  Bummer, because the subject material was fantastic, just thought the execution was poor.

Stayed home sick today so I watched Cargo (Netflix low-budget zombie movie...).  Not your standard zombie flick, seemed to take a little to get into the characters, but overall not bad at all for a lower budget film.

A Walk in the Wood, last night with Mrs Staybrite.  Not a fast paced action flick or even a drama...just a decent comedy with two very aged actors Robert Redford and Nick Nolte.  I rather enjoyed.

Flash Gordon...in all of its cheesy goodness!

The Incredibles II

Saw Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom today. While it was fairly entertaining,it had a lot of moments that made me revisit the other movies. They were probably going for a nostalgic feel, but were , as some one else said, recycled. This has been done for other movies recently and just seems to be too much. While I like a nostalgic touch from time to time,it would be better to see something more original.

As for the ending... I get goose bumps wondering how they will pick up in the next movie.

+1. Enjoyed it but it just seemed like I was watching a mashup of the prior ones.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

My review would be the same as both Topshot and Hardkore.  I felt like this was just a mashup of other films with nothing really to add to the story.  The audience didn't even jump when the dinosaurs attacked.  The wonder is just gone.

I am into season 3 now of The 100.

I've think I have been more impressed with television over the last few years than I have been with movies.

Only The Brave. It's the account of the Granite Mountain Hotshots.  Long but well done film, sad ending.

Luke Cage season two on Netflix.

The four episode crossover event featuring Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow called "Crisis on Earth X".

Just wrapped up The Tick reboot on Amazon Prime.  Wasn't too bad.

Did you watch the 2001 television version with Patrick Warburton?
I thought the new series was quite similar to that one.  But if this is your first exposure to "The Tick" it's understandable.  It's not your everyday superhero kind of universe, it's very much a comedy.

Yesterday for 4th of July, I pulled out and watched Independence Day!

I used to watch the cartoon, so I knew what I was getting into.  I do not know if I watched the 2001 version or the newer version.
